A heat exchanger for tempering of a fluid with a jacket element configured as a fluid channel for a fluid to be tempered and an insert element arranged in the fluid channel has web elements which are connected to the jacket element at different locations. Some of the web elements contain web element channels which are fluidly connected with the jacket element, so that in the operating state, a heat transfer fluid which is supplied to the jacket element can flow through the web elements. The jacket element contains chambers with one inlet opening and one outlet opening for a heat transfer fluid. The inlet opening and the outlet opening of the chambers are connected to the web element channels of two web elements each, which belong to the same row of web elements.

Heat exchanger for tempering of a fluid

A heat exchanger comprises a jacket element and an insert element, the jacket element forming a fluid channel for a fluid to be tempered, a flowable medium or a fluid mixture. The insert element is arranged in the fluid channel. The insert element contains a plurality of web elements which are connected to the jacket element at different locations. At least some of the web elements contain web element passages which are in fluid-conducting connection with the jacket element so that, in the operating state, a heat transfer fluid which is fed to the jacket element can flow through the web elements, wherein the jacket element contains a plurality of chambers for a heat transfer fluid, wherein at least one of the chambers is disposed with a plurality of inlet openings and outlet openings for the heat transfer fluid.

Heat exchanger

The heat exchanger () contains a jacket element () and an insert element (), wherein the insert element () is arranged in the operating state in the interior of the jacket element (). The insert element has a longitudinal axis (). The insert element () contains an insert jacket element () and a plurality of web elements (), the web elements () having a first end () and a second end (). The first end () and the second end () of each web element () are connected to the insert jacket element () at different locations. At least a portion of the web elements () includes web element channels (), the web element channels () extending from the first end () of the web element () to the second end () of the web element (). An intermediate jacket element () is arranged between the insert jacket element () and the jacket element ().

A mixer structure for a film die for a polymer melt includes multiple web elements. The web elements include a first web element and a second web element. The first web element and the second web element include at least an end, which is connected to a base. A film die includes a first tool element, a second tool element, and a flow channel for the polymer melt extending between the first tool element and the second tool element. The mixer structure is arranged in the flow channel. The mixer structure is held in at least one of the tool elements by a holding element.

A device () for the manufacture of an annular extrudate comprises a jacket (), a crosshead () arranged inside of the jacket. The jacket contains a melt passage, whereby the crosshead is arranged in the melt passage, such that the melt passage extends et least at the outlet of the device as an annular melt passage around the crosshead (). An annular passage () is formed between the crosshead and the jacket. The annular passage contains a static mixer (), whereby the crosshead is at least partially supported by the static mixer in the jacket. The static mixer comprises a plurality of inserts, whereby at least a portion of the inserts is connected to the crosshead and/or the jacket.

Method and device for the manufacture of annular extrudates

A device () for static mixing and heat exchange comprises a cladding element () and a mixer insert (), whereby the mixer insert () is in the operative state arranged inside the cladding element (). The mixer insert has a longitudinal axis and comprises a first group () of web elements and a second group () of web elements. The first group () of web elements extends along a first common group plane () and the second group () of web elements extends along a second common group plane (). At least a portion of the web elements () is provided with channels (). The channels extend from a first end () of the web element () to a second end () of the web element (). The cladding element () comprises a corresponding channel, which is in fluid connection with the first end () and the second end () of the web element whereby the transition from at least one of the first () and second ends () of the web element to the corresponding channel in the cladding element () is free from gaps.

Device for mixing and heat exchange

The multicomponent cartridge has a container with chambers for the reception of different fluid components, a mixer element fixed on the container for the mixing of the components and a dispensing tube placed onto the mixer element and connected to the container for the dispensing of the mixed components. The mixer element is configured as a guide element for the axial displacement of the dispensing tube between an open position for dispensing of the mixed components and a closed position.

Multicomponent cartridge

The invention relates to a multicomponent foil-type container comprising a first chamber () for accommodating a first component, at least one second chamber () for accommodating a second component, a discharge duct () that can be connected to said chambers ('), deflection elements () for mixing the components within the discharge duct (), and a seal () which prevents the components from being mixed before being used and can be opened for discharging the components. The deflection elements () of the inventive multicomponent foil-type container are disposed on a separate mixing element () that is located in the discharge duct () such that the multicomponent foil-type container is easy to produce while allowing different components to be mixed in a particularly effectively manner. The invention further relates to a device for squeezing a multicomponent foil-type container in a particularly effective fashion. The disclosed squeezing device is provided with a holding element () for accommodating a multicomponent foil-type container. At least one leg () that can be moved towards the chambers () of the multicomponent foil-type container in order to squeeze the multicomponent foil-type container is hingedly connected to the end of the holding element () which faces the rear end of an inserted multicomponent foil-type container, resulting in the components being effectively mixed.

The static mixer is used for a curing mixed product of flowable components that react to form a solidifying mass on mixing. The mixer has mixing chambers that are arranged behind one another and next to one another along a tube axis. Each mixing chamber is delineated by longitudinal walls oriented in the direction of the tube axis and by transverse walls standing transversely to the tube axis. Openings in the longitudinal walls and in the floor of each mixing chamber establish inlets and outlets for the mixed product. The corner of at least some of the mixing chambers upstream of an outlet in the longitudinal walls is filled in to form a concave surface for directing the flowable components towards the outlet. The transverse wall at an inlet to at least some of the mixing chambers is also formed with a concave surface for directing the flowable components through the inlet into the mixing chamber.

An expressing device for a coaxial cartridge with an outer tube and an inner tube. In order to increase the filling volume of coaxial cartridges that can be expressed with commercially available metering guns, the expressing device is provided with a separating device for severing the inner tube and with a deflecting device for deflecting the one or more severed sections of the inner tube toward the inner wall of the outer tube when the coaxial cartridge is expressed.

Component for a static mixer

A static mixer includes a plurality of mixing chambers for mixing at least two flowable components. The mixing chambers are arranged one behind the other as well as adjacently in a tube along a tube axis. The mixer includes basic mixing chambers and modified mixing chambers. Basic mixing chambers are bounded off from one another by radial walls oriented in the direction of the tube axis and by end walls transverse to the tube axis. Apertures in the radial walls form inputs and outputs between adjacent chambers for the components to be mixed. Modified mixing chambers have structural modifications relative to the basic mixing chambers. In one embodiment, the modification includes adding inclined walls. In another embodiment, the modification includes changing the longitudinal dimension of the chamber relative to the basic mixing chamber.

Static mixer

The adapter ( ) is provided for a static mixer ( ) to carry out a shaped dispensing of a viscid mixture from the mixer. The adapter is formed in the shape of a plastic injection-molded part such that it is mountable on a discharge orifice ( ) of the mixer. It forms a passage with a variable cross-section with a wall ( ), with the flow of the mixture being guidable though said passage to a slit-shaped outlet opening ( ). The passage wall ( ) is provided with linear cutting aids ( ) on the outside which extend at least approximately parallel to the slit direction of the outlet opening ( ). The passage wall can be cut through along these cutting aids so that a new, slit-shaped outlet opening ( ) is created which is shorter than the original outlet opening in the slit direction. The linear cutting aids are arranged such that the newly made outlet openings have pre-set cross-sectional areas.
