The invention relates to an optoelectronic device ( ) for detecting markings affixed to objects by using a transmitter ( ) that emits light rays ( ), a receiver ( ) that receives light rays ( ), an evaluation unit ( ) and a deflection unit ( ) at which the transmitting light rays ( ) are reflected and, as a result, are periodically guided inside a predetermined angular range. At least two stationary reflecting units are installed in series after the deflection unit ( ). The transmitting light rays ( ) are guided over the first reflecting unit inside a first segment &Dgr;&agr; of the angular range &Dgr;&agr;, so that these rays periodically scan a first segment of a three-dimensional detection range. Inside of a second segment &Dgr;&agr; of the angular range &Dgr;&agr;, the transmitting light rays ( ) are guided over a second reflecting unit, so that these rays periodically scan a second segment of the three-dimensional monitoring range. The object can be introduced into the detection range for detecting the markings on the object.

Optoelectronic device

A device for positioning objects in a desired position includes a transmitter for emitting light rays ( ), a receiver for receiving light rays and an optical sensor ( ) with an evaluation unit. The desired position is scanned with the transmitted light rays ( ). The device additionally includes at least one holding device, in which a predetermined number of objects are stored in predetermined slide-in positions. Each slide-in position has a position mark associated therewith. The device furthermore includes a transport system for moving the holding device relative to the optical sensor. The holding device is stopped as soon as a position mark for a slide-in position of a predetermined object is detected by the optical sensor, wherein the predetermined object can be identified with the optical sensor through object marks located on the object.
