An electric machine has a rotor and a stator defined by a stator laminated core (). The rotor and the stator are separated from one another by a can () for the cooling of the stator using a liquid coolant. The electric machine has a stator component () formed as a single piece and composed of the stator laminated core () and of a plastics workpiece () molded thereon. A method is provided for producing a stator arrangement that has a stator core and a winding arrangement. The stator core has stator slots. The winding arrangement has winding elements with a conductor and an insulation layer. Each winding element has two interconnected winding element legs with two winding element end portions on each winding element leg. The method includes positioning the winding elements on the stator core so that the winding element legs extend through one of the stator slots with winding element end portions protruding on a first side of the stator core. The method then includes using a first laser arrangement to remove the insulation layer from regions of the winding element end portions. The method then includes pressing the first and second winding element end portions against one another and using a second laser arrangement to carry out welding.

A stator for an electric machine includes: a laminated stator core including stator grooves and having a plug-in side and a bending side, which bending side lies opposite the plug-in side in an axial direction; a stator winding having hairpin elements which are pushed into the stator grooves on the plug-in side of the laminated stator core and bent and electrically connected to the stator winding on the bending side of the laminated stator core; and an end plate which is arranged on the plug-in side in the axial direction between the laminated stator core and the hairpin elements. The hairpin elements are arranged in the axial direction so as to bear against the end plate.

A stator () of an electric machine has a stator lamination stack () that includes stator laminations. The fixing device () in a slot (), a nonwoven material () which can be saturated with a cooling liquid ().

A stator () of an electric machine has a stator lamination stack () that comprises stator laminations (). The stator () has at least one stator winding with conductor bars () arranged in slots of the stator lamination stack () and fixed in the slots of the stator lamination stack () with the aid of a fixing device. To improve the stator () with regard to the service life thereof and/or to the producibility thereof, at least one clamping stator lamination () has a clamping geometry that serves as the fixing device.
