The invention relates to a fastening system for tiltable metallurgical processing vessels, in particular converters, the processing vessel () being mounted in a carrier ring () connected to the jacket of the processing vessel by means of plate fin elements (), each plate fin element consisting of a plate fin connected to the carrier ring () by means of a sheet metal connector () and a first fastening bracket () and connected to the jacket of the processing vessel by means of a further sheet metal connector () and a second fastening bracket (). According to the invention, the sheet metal connector () is clamped by a wedge () between the flanges (and, respectively) of the fastening bracket (and, respectively) with zero clearance, said bracket in turn abutting a tab () welded to the flanges of the fastening bracket and bridging same. The wedge () is actively connected to the tab () by means of a bolted connection ().

A gas supply system for a side blowing and/or bottom blowing metallurgical furnace with at least one tuyere which is mounted in the side wall and/or in the bottom of the furnace, wherein gas is conveyed through a line of the gas supply system to the tuyere and through the tuyere to the interior of the metallurgical furnace and emerges there in the form of bubbles. The gas supply system has an inflow restrictor which is assigned to the tuyere or is positioned upstream of the tuyere and reduces or interrupts the gas supply to the interior of the furnace at equal intervals of time.

A metallurgical vessel having support brackets mounted on a vessel wall. The support brackets are mounted by a mounting system on a support body that does not completely surround the circumference of the vessel. The mounting system includes clamps that act on the support brackets. A coupling device is provided, which has, a first coupling component designed as a male part mounted on the support body and a second coupling component designed as a female part mounted on the vessel wall. The first and second coupling components are configured and arranged so as to automatically engage when the clamps are in the engaged position and to automatically disengage when the clamps are not in the engaged position. The coupling device has sealing elements and a coupling mechanism of the first coupling component relative to the second coupling component.
