A watering mat is provided for the large-area distribution of water, particularly in horticulture and landscaping as well as agriculture. The watering mat includes a first and a second carrier layer to accommodate other elements of the watering mat, one or more connections for connecting the first and the second carrier layers, one or more water-feeding elements arranged between the first and the second carrier layers for feeding water into the watering mat and distributing water through the watering mat, an absorption layer for water storage arranged between the first and the second carrier layers and a moisture level detector in the watering mat.

A method for producing multiaxial warp knit fabrics with extended threads in longitudinal, transverse and diagonal directions as a result of direct insertion of the diagonal threads as weft sections onto backs of rising needles of needle bars. The method includes simultaneously inserting at least two diagonal thread systems contrarily as part wefts for each needle bar on a right/right warp knitting machine.

Method for producing multiaxial warp knit fabric

A floatable flat textile structure with embedded, air-filled floating bodies is disclosed. To provide a flat structure that has a high buoyancy, resists damage and can be manufactured cost-effectively, the floating bodies are formed as air-filled ropes made of an air-filled foil, wherein the air-filled ropes are connected by connecting elements.
