A double-plate gate valveis proposed which is provided for fittings of industrial plants, in particular chemical and petrochemical plants, wherein the double-plate gate valvecomprises a housinghaving two shut-off platesinside the housingwhich are displaceable between an open and a closed position, wherein spring elementssuch as disc spring packs are arranged between the shut-off platespressing the shut-off platesin the closed position against sealing surfaces arranged on the housingsuch that the entire sealing force required for sealing is provided by the spring elements. Furthermore are proposed a shut-off platefor use in an inventive double-plate gate valveas well as a method for sealing the inventive double-plate gate valve using the inventive shut-off plates.

A conduit slider for chemical and petrochemical systems, comprising a slider housing () which has a blockable conduit () and at least one slider plate () which can be moved into an open position and a closed position and vice versa. A sealing seat () is paired with the conduit (), said sealing seat extending along the circumference of the conduit () and sealing against the slider plate () at least in the closed position during operation. The conduit slider ensures the seal between the sealing seat () and the slider plate () and allows the slider plate () to be installed into and removed from the slider housing () with a compact, portable, simple, and inexpensive design. This is achieved in that at least one circumferential groove () is formed in the sealing seat (), a molded metal ring () with a media filling being arranged in said groove.

Conduit slider for chemical and petrochemical systems

A double-plate gate valve is provided for fittings of industrial plants wherein the double-plate gate valve comprises a housing having two shut-off plates inside the housing the shut-off plates being displaceable between an open and a closed position. Spring elements, such as disc spring packs, are arranged between the shut-off plates pressing the shut-off plates in the closed position against sealing surfaces arranged on the housing such that the entire sealing force required for sealing is provided by the spring elements. Also provided in stand-alone form is a shut-off plate for use in the double-plate gate valve. A method for sealing the double-plate gate valve using the shut-off plates is also provided.

Double-plate gate valve, shut-off plate, and method for sealing a double-plate gate valve

A triple sealing seat is provided in a conduit gate valve having at least one shut-off plate which is displaceable between an open and closed position with respect to the conduit. The triple sealing seat forms a substantially annular sealing surface. In order to increase the tightness, the annular sealing surface comprises a radial interior sealing and scraping edge which can be contacted with the shut-off plate during operation. Also provided is a first circumferential groove located radially further outside which is in communication with a first gas channel and to which a sealing gas pressure can be applied. Also provided is a second circumferential groove located radially further outside which is in communication with a second gas channel and to which a sealing gas pressure can be applied. Moreover a single-plate gate valve and a double-plate gate valve comprising the triple sealing seat are disclosed, along with a method for sealing a shut-off plate of a conduit gate valve by using the triple sealing seat.
