A method for measuring a physical quantity with a, particularly inductive, sensor element and for providing a sensor output depending on the physical quantity. The sensor element is part of a resonant circuit whose attenuation depends on the physical quantity being measured. The resonant circuit is excited to generate a periodic oscillation signal, the amplitude of which depends on the attenuation. The oscillation signal is compared with a comparator threshold value in a comparator to produce a periodic comparator signal with a duty cycle depending on the comparator threshold value. The comparator threshold value is set to be different from a mean value of the oscillation signal so that a duty cycle different from 50% is achieved. The sensor output is output depending on the duty cycle of the comparator signal.

Method and circuit for evaluating a physical quantity detected by a sensor

The present invention relates to a device for the contactless energy and data transmission, having a primary unit provided with a primary inductor, and a secondary unit provided with a secondary inductor. The primary and secondary units are at least temporarily so relatively positioned that between the primary inductor and the secondary inductor a transformer coupling distance is formed. Furthermore, the primary unit is set up for the contactless transmission of energy to the secondary unit and the secondary unit is designed for supplying terminals connected thereto. The device is further developed in that the primary unit has means for interrupting the energy transmission across the transformer coupling distance in energy transmission intervals and the secondary unit has means for detecting the energy transmission intervals. Further, the secondary unit has means for transmitting data in the energy transmission intervals and/or the primary unit has means for transmitting data to the secondary unit. The invention also relates to a method for the contactless energy and data transmission.

The invention relates to a device for detecting the position of a magnet which is positioned so that it is moveable ( ) to produce a magnetic field ( ) through a ferromagnetic wall ( ), a magnetic field sensor ( ) being situated in front of said wall. When said magnet ( ) is moved in relation to said wall ( ), the lines ( ) of the field build up a useful flux ( ) which progresses in said wall ( ). The magnetic field sensor ( ) registers the change of field, which is then used to produce a switching signal.

Device for detecting the position of a moveable magnet to produce a magnetic field

An electrical connector is disclosed with electrically contacting contact pins or contact sockets, such as plugs or couplings. The electrical connector exhibits on one side a receiver part. A light-guiding body made of a light-transmitting material with at least one illuminating body is inserted into the receiver part. Feed lines for contact pins are led through the receiver part. The light-guiding body is furnished with at least two arms. Reflection surfaces are furnished for deflecting light coming from an illuminating body into the two arms. The reflection surfaces deflect light into the respective arm and are capable of deflecting the light mainly in axial direction within the respective arm at an angle of from between about 40 to 140 degrees relative to the main radiation direction of the arm. The light-guiding or light-conducting body exhibits a recess below the tip or edge and the illuminating body is disposed in the recess.
