A screw including a shank, at least one screw thread, which is arranged on the shank, winds around the shank and protrudes from the shank, and a separate helix element, which is arranged non-monolithically on the shank, wherein the separate helix element winds around the shank, protrudes from the shank, and constitutes at least a section of the at least one screw thread. The screw further includes at least one first claw, which projects from the shank, and which has both radial and axial overlap with the separate helix element, wherein the shank and the at least one first claw are monolithic with respect to one another.

A screw having a shank, wherein the shank has a tip end, a rear end, and a longitudinal axis extending through the tip end and through the rear end, wherein the tip end and the rear end are opposite ends of the shank, and a screw thread, which is connected to the shank, and which winds around the shank, wherein a wedge groove is provided in the shank, which wedge groove winds around the shank and extends alongside at least a section of the screw thread, wherein the wedge groove is delimited by a rearwardly tapered wedge flank for wedging a grout shell surrounding the shank. A screw including a shank having a tip, a rear end, which is located opposite the tip, and a longitudinal axis, which extends through the tip and through the rear end, and a screw thread helix, which is arranged on the shank, wherein the screw thread helix has a screw thread ridge for engaging into an internal screw thread groove. The screw thread helix has axial tipward play with respect to the shank, wherein the tipward play increases as the axial distance of the screw thread helix from the tip increases.

A screw includes a shank having a tip, a rear end which is disposed opposite the tip, and a longitudinal axis which extends through the tip and through the rear end. The shank consists of a first steel material. A screw thread helix is disposed on the shank and protrudes from the shank. The screw thread helix consists of a second steel material that is different from the first steel material. Both the first steel material and the second steel material are stainless steels.

A screw includes a shank where a thread helix receiving groove winds around the shank and is disposed in the shank. A thread helix is disposed in the thread helix receiving groove where the thread helix has an expandable helix section. The shank has, at the thread helix receiving groove, a wedge flank for radially expanding the expandable helix section as the shank is moved relative to the expandable helix section. The expandable helix section has a helical back and a plurality of expansion fingers projecting axially from the helical back towards the wedge flank. The wedge flank of the thread helix receiving groove is configured for radially displacing the plurality of expansion fingers outwardly as the shank is moved relative to the plurality of expansion fingers.

A method for temporarily releasing a screw anchorage includes unscrewing and removing a primary screw having a thread that is tappingly engaged in a mating thread in an ungrouted hole in a mineral substrate from the ungrouted hole. Subsequently to the unscrewing and removing, a retrofitting screw is screwed into the hole to form an annular gap between the retrofitting screw and the mineral substrate. A hardenable grout is placed in the annular gap and the hardenable grout is hardened in the annular gap.

A thread-forming screw has a shank which, in a front region of the shank, has a tip for insertion into a bore in a substrate, and in a rear region of the shank, has a drive for transmitting a torque to the shank. The spiral-shaped groove has a front flank and a rear flank disposed opposite the front flank. The front flank, at least regionally, has a different part flank angle than the rear flank.
