The invention relates, among other things, to a gas generator for generating a driving gas for a vehicle safety device, wherein the gas generator comprises: an ignition device; fuel which, after ignition using the ignition device, generates the driving gas; an at least partially tubular carrier element, in the tube interior of which a combustion chamber for the fuel is located; an injection-moulded body which fixes the ignition device in the connection hole and is located with an inner portion inside the carrier element and with an outer portion outside the carrier element; a feed pipe which is connected to a pipe end of the carrier element and which conveys the driving gas out of the combustion chamber; and a lid sealing the combustion chamber.

Gas generator

The invention relates inter alia to a gas generator () for generating a driving gas for a vehicle safety device, wherein the gas generator has an ignition device () and propellant () which generates gas after being ignited by the ignition device (). It is provided according to the invention that the gas generator () has a tube (), to one tube end () of which the ignition device () is fixed by means of a moulded-in or moulded-on injection-moulded body ().

The disclosed seat belt tensioner for a seat belt system may comprise a seat belt spindle, a gearwheel connected to the seat belt spindle, and a latching pawl for locking the seat belt spindle in the tensioned position by engaging in the teeth of the gearwheel. The latching pawl may be configured to be brought into a first pawl position for blocking the gearwheel in the seat belt unrolling direction and into a second pawl position for blocking the gearwheel in the seat belt-tensioning direction of rotation. The latching pawl may also be configured to perform a first pivot-over operation from the first pawl position into the second pawl position and to perform a second pivot-over operation from the second pawl position into the first pawl position when the gearwheel exerts a force on the latching pawl that exceeds a predetermined force required for the respective pivoting-over operation.

Seat belt tensioner

The disclosed seat belt tensioner is for a seat belt safety system that may comprise a seat belt spindle, a drive motor for driving the seat belt spindle, and a gear connected to the drive motor. The gear may be a mechanical automatic gear that shifts automatically as a function of load

The disclosed seat belt tensioner may comprise a drive motor, a gear connected to the drive motor, and a seat belt spindle connected to the gear by a spindle clutch. The spindle clutch may have spindle clutch pawls, which engage in pawl teeth of the seat belt spindle to couple the seat belt spindle and the gear. The spindle clutch may also comprise a synchronization pawl configured to alit the pawl teeth before the spindle clutch pawls engage in the pawl teeth.

The invention relates to a drive unit for a safety belt tensioner which has a drive which can be triggered on the response of an acceleration sensor and which can be rotationally fixedly coupled to the belt winding reel. The drive is located in a drive chamber which is formed by two plates, which extend parallel to one another and which are provided with a coating material, and which has a drive band of which at least one end is fastened to a drive shaft.

A belt retractor for a seatbelt comprising a retractor pawl which blocks the seatbelt from being pulled out of the belt retractor in the event of an accident, and having a tightening device which tightens the seatbelt in a hazardous situation, the tightening device includes a tightening pawl which, in a blocking position, blocks the belt retractor in the belt uncoiling direction and, in a release position, leaves the belt retractor unaffected.
