A fuse includes a protective housing and a measurement device. Two electrical connection elements of the fuse are routed out of the protective housing and at least one fuse element is arranged in the protective housing, the at least one fuse element electrically conductively connecting the two electrical connection elements in the protective housing to one another. The measurement device includes a sensor element to record a physical state measured value of the fuse and a transmission apparatus to transmit the measured value to a reception device arranged outside the fuse. The measurement device further includes a dedicated housing in which the sensor element is received and held, the dedicated housing being mechanically connected to the protective housing. An overall installation space required for the protective housing and the dedicated housing corresponds to an installation space of a standardized NH fuse. The fuse is usable for retrofit applications.

Fuse, fuse body, system and method

The present embodiments relate to a beam head including a vacuum housing, in which an electron source is arranged. The beam head also includes a beam finger that is connected to the vacuum housing and has an outlet window at a distal end. The beam head includes a transformer housing, in which a transformer connected to the electron source is arranged. The transformer housing is arranged directly on the vacuum housing.

Beam head

A therapy system has a therapeutic system that produces x-ray radiation and is directed to a treatment area, and an image-producing imaging system that produces x-ray radiation and is directed to the treatment area. The therapeutic system has a first accelerator for electrons of a first energy that produces respective x-ray radiation, and the imaging system has a second accelerator for electrons of a second energy. A supply system is connected to and operates the first and the second accelerators, and the first and second supply systems have at least one component.

Therapy facility

An x-ray tube has a cathode and an anode which are arranged in a vacuum housing, with an electromagnet for deflecting the electron beam traveling from the cathode to the anode. This electromagnet is formed by a C-shaped yoke with two legs that are connected to each other by a base section surrounded by a winding. Respective pole shoes with opposing pole faces are disposed at the ends of the legs. The electron beam passes between the two pole shoes as it propagates from the cathode to the anode. Each pole face has a width which does not exceed the width of its pole shoe.

X-ray tube

An x-ray tube has a cathode and an anode arranged in a vacuum housing, wherein an electron beam emanating from the cathode is incident at a focal spot on the anode. An electromagnet is provided for deflecting the electron beam, this electromagnet having a U-shaped yoke with two legs connected by a base section with a winding surrounding the base section. The electron beam passes between the two legs. The yoke is formed by successively layered laminations disposed in respective planes disposed substantially perpendicularly to the propagation direction of the electron beam.

An X-ray tube with a cathode and an anode arranged in a vacuum housing has an electromagnet for deflecting the electron beam emanating from the cathode and proceeding to the anode, the electromagnet having a yoke with two legs connected to one another by a base section, with a winding surrounding the base section. The base section with the winding is located outside the vacuum housing. The legs of the yoke of the electromagnet extend into the vacuum housing so that the electron beam proceeds between the two legs.

X-ray tube with means for magnetic deflection

An X-ray tube has a cathode and an anode that are arranged in a vacuum housing. For deflection of the electron beam propagating from the cathode to the anode, two electromagnets are provided, of which each having a U-shaped yoke with two arms connected with one another by a base segment, and comprises a winding surrounding the base segment. The respective end faces of the arms of the two yokes are arranged opposite one another so as to maintain an air gap. The magnetic poles positioned opposite one another have the same polarity. The electron beam proceeds through the opening limited by the two yokes.

X-ray tube with magnetic deflection of the electron beam

An X-ray tube has a cathode and an anode arranged in a vacuum housing, the electron beam emanating from the cathode proceeding through a hollow cylindrical housing part of the vacuum housing to the anode. An electromagnet is provided for the deflection of the electron beam. The electromagnet has a U-shaped yoke with two legs having first ends connected to one another by a base section and having a winding surrounding the base section. The legs straddle the housing part and the electromagnet is disposed so that the electron beam is spaced a distance from the second ends of the legs so that from the second ends of the legs so that the electron beam is situated only in the stray field of the electromagnet, rather than in the region of maximum field strength.

An x-ray tube, in addition to an anode and a cathode arrangement, has first and second electrodes that are located in an evacuated housing provided with a beam exit window. The anode and the first electrode are at potentials that are positive in comparison to the potentials of the cathode arrangement and the second electrode. Further, the first and the second electrode are arranged lying opposite one another such that secondary electrons emanating from the anode must pass through the space located between the first and the second electrode in order to proceed to the beam exit window. These secondary electrons are thus substantially all prevented from reaching the beam exit window, thereby avoiding excessive heating of the beam exit window.

A mounting part for mounting an end of an axle on a projection of a housing, such as an axle in a vacuum-tight housing of a rotatable anode, is characterized by a sleeve section which can have radial play during assembly and engages a clamp arrangement to remove the radial play at the end of assembly of the section on either the end of the axle or the projection of the housing. The clamp arrangement is a bevel provided on the member being telescopically received in the section or on a ring which is telescopically received on the member being received in the section.

An x-ray radiator has an x-ray tube disposed in a protective housing and a fastening means having a portion attached to the x-ray tube inside the housing, and a portion which extends through the housing to the exterior of the housing. The exterior portion serves as a fastener to attach the x-ray radiator to a mount. The x-ray tube, within the housing, thus becomes directly attached to the exterior mount, which improves the precision with which the specified position of the central ray of the x-ray beam emanating from the x-ray tube can be achieved.
