A method for recognizing directional structures on a window pane of a vehicle is described. The method includes carrying out an assessment of image points of an image of the window pane, which image points are disposed along an evaluation path, a course of the evaluation path being dependent on an expected orientation of the directional structures on the window pane. The method further includes recognizing a directional structure based on the assessment.

An image sensor and a method for manufacturing an image sensor are described in which the image sensor includes at least one substrate having a plurality of light-sensitive elements forming a sensor field and first microfilter elements for wavelength-selective filtering of incident light. A first microfilter element is situated in front of a portion of the light-sensitive elements for wavelength-selective filtering of light striking the light-sensitive element. Connector arrangement for an automotive steering system with a control

In a connection arrangement between a sensor and connection leads, only a small installation space is required. To this end, the connection arrangement has a signal amplifier, which is electrically contacted by means of bond connections with the sensor and the connection leads. This is achieved by means of connecting elements, which are designed as thin sheet-metal shaped parts and are fixed with tab-shaped end sections in a housing of plastic, in which the signal amplifier is also inserted. The end sections, the signal amplifier, and the bond connections are arranged in a space-saving manner in roughly one plane. The connection arrangement is especially suited for sensors used to measure the speed of motor vehicles.

A multipole electrical plug connector having contact elements narrowly spaced from one another, and the plug connector having small dimensions in a manner favorable in terms of production engineering. To this end, the plug connector has contact elements, each having an attachment section and a contact section, whose attachment sections are manufactured from a one-piece self-supporting punched grid. The thickness d of the punched grid is independent of the thickness a of the contact sections, which are produced separately from the attachment sections and are assembled with them to form the contact elements, which upon integration into a housing of an electrical device are partially equipped with a sheathing made of plastic. The plug connector is preferably used in automotive engineering, for example, in electrical control units with highly integrated circuits.

A multipole electrical plug connector for a releasable coupling with a counter-connector has a contact set including a plurality of contact elements each having a contact portion and a connecting portions, the connecting portions of the contact elements being formed as part of a one-piece punched grate with a thickness which is independent from a thickness of the contact portions which is joined with the connecting portions.

An electrical device has at least one electrical power component, a housing including a plurality of housing parts, and a spring element arranged to provide a mechanical and thermal contact of the at least one electrical power component with the housing. The holder (1) for an electronic component (20), especially a hybrid module, is preferably a unitary plastic element having an elongated base plate (2) formed with openings (14) therein to permit insertion of terminal pins or lugs (21) projecting from the component therethrough. Two holder arms (30) project from the base plate, the holder arms having module support portions (3) and oppositely projecting posts (4). The posts fit into receiving openings (26, 27) of a printed circuit board, which receiving openings having a spacing (S) which is greater than the distance (D) between the posts so that, upon insertion of the posts in the openings the arms (30) will tilt towards each other, thus clamping a module, typically in card or board form, between the module support (3) of the arms. The holder can also form a transport holder for the module, by forming, for example, in the module a notch spaced from the upper edge, and engaging the notch (22) with a projecting rim (9) formed on the upper ends of the support portions (3) of the arms, the notch being so spaced that the terminal lugs or pins (21) then just fit into the openings (14) in the base plate, thereby protecting the pins against damage.
