The invention relates to a mobile sweeper comprising a housing, in which a sweeping roller driven by an electric motor is mounted for rotation, and a sweepings container for receiving sweepings, wherein there are mounted on the housing adjacent to the sweeping roller two front supporting wheels and at a distance from these at least one rear supporting wheel, each for rotation about an axis of rotation. In order to further develop the sweeper such that with the occurrence of surface unevennesses, there is no risk of the sweeping roller becoming blocked or of the sweeper tilting, it is proposed in accordance with the invention that the axis of rotation of a first front supporting wheel be arranged coaxially with the axis of rotation of the sweeping roller and, in relation to the main direction of movement of the sweeper, offset from the axis of rotation of the second front supporting wheel.

Mobile sweeper

A road sweeper is provided with a rotatingly drivable sweeping brush, a sweepings container, a suction blower in flow communication with the sweeping brush for taking in dust-containing air, and at least one filter for separating dust from the air drawn in, wherein the filter can be acted upon on the clean side with external air stored in a pressure container and subject to pressure, via at least one external air valve for cleaning. In order for the filter to be cleaned off with as small an amount of external air as possible, the pressure container can have a pressure container wall located opposite the clean side of the at least one filter, the at least one external air valve being arranged on the wall, wherein a section of a suction conduit extends between the pressure container wall and the clean side of the filter.

Road sweeper

A floor cleaning appliance has a brush head in which a brush roller is rotatably mounted and which has at least one suction nozzle which is disposed next to the brush roller. Further, the floor cleaning appliance has a shank which is mounted on the brush head in a pivotable manner and on which a suction unit is disposed, as is a cleaning liquid container for cleaning liquid which can be applied to the floor surface to be cleaned, and a dirty liquid container for accommodating dirty liquid which is sucked up from the floor surface by means of the suction unit, the cleaning liquid container and the dirty liquid container together forming a container assembly which is adapted to be releasably connected to the shank. In order to develop the floor cleaning appliance in such a way that it is easier to handle, it is proposed that the cleaning liquid container is adapted to be releasably connected to the dirty liquid container.

The invention relates to a mobile floor-cleaning machine having a rotationally drivable, disk-like cleaning tool which is detachably held on a tool holder, the tool holder being connected to a drive shaft in a rotationally fixed manner. In order to develop the floor-cleaning machine in such a way that the cleaning tool can be easily replaced, the invention proposes that said cleaning tool is adapted to be detachably latched to the tool holder and to be disconnected from the tool holder in the axial direction by means of an unlatching mechanism which is adapted to be operated by the user.

In order that a road-sweeping machine with a chassis, with unsteered rear wheels and steered front wheels, with an engine which is disposed substantially above the rear wheels and drives them, with a seat near the engine and with a sweeping roller disposed on the underside of the chassis between the front and rear wheels at right angles to the direction of travel, and with a dirt collector, may be constructed in such a way that it has a compact construction of simple design and has a good sweeping effect whilst producing little dust, it is proposed that the dirt collector is disposed between the front and rear wheels adjacent to the sweeping roller and is connected by way of a suction line to a suction unit, and that the engine is disposed with the output shaft directed substantially vertically, the output shaft projecting upwards and downwards out of the engine, wherein the upwardly projecting portion thereof drives the suction unit and the downwardly projecting portion drives the rear wheels and the sweeping roller.

In a connector provided with a coupling ring for the pipe coupling of a high-pressure cleaning apparatus, the pipe coupling comprising a coupling sleeve with a conical sealing surface, a circular-cylindrical sealing surface adjacent thereto, and an outer thread for the coupling ring of the connector, with a cylindrical nipple carrying a ring seal and sealingly positionable at the circular-cylindrical sealing surface of the coupling sleeve, and a convex sealing shoulder for sealing abutment on the conical sealing surface of the coupling sleeve, the coupling ring being mounted on the connector so as to be freely rotatable and essentially immovable in the axial direction, in order to improve the mechanical protection of the coupling parts against damage, it is proposed that the coupling ring protrude in the axial direction over the free end of the nipple, and that the ratio of the length of the nipple to the outer diameter thereof be between 0.4 and 0.3.

In order to obtain a stable emulsion in a short time and in continuous operation of an apparatus for producing a stable emulsion for use in cleaning and decontamination devices, this apparatus containing solids suspended in water, a solvent and an emulsifier, it is suggested that a feed line for the solvent and the emulsifier which have a specific weight heavier than water be provided at the underside of a tank having a circular cross section, that a supply means for the solids suspended in water lead into the tank above the feed line, that means be provided for causing the contents of the tank to rotate about the longitudinal axis hereof and that the tank be surrounded by a collecting chamber receiving the emulsion overflowing over the upper edge of the tank, an outlet for the finished emulsion exiting from the collecting chamber.
