A device for sensing an obstacle in the opening range of a movable closure element of a motor vehicle, more particularly an electrically powered window pane or sunroof is defined. The device is provided with at least one sensor electrode generating an electrical field in the opening range of the closure element. It is furthermore provided with a control unit for detecting a change in the capacitance of the electrical field caused by the presence of an obstacle in the opening range of the closure element, the control unit providing a control signal for a drive powering the closure element. The sensor electrode is connected to the control unit either directly or via a shielded conductor. The control unit is arranged on an electronic controller of the drive and compensates the influence of the shielded conductor on the electrical field.

An arrangement of a cooling medium pump of a rotary piston internal combustion engine of trochoidal-type of construction with a fluid or liquid cooled housing, with which the cooling medium is conveyed first in common and parallel through cooling hollow chambers of the casing mantle part and of a side part in a common hollow chamber and from there is conveyed by way of a cooling medium pump into another side part and from there via a thermostat into a cooler arranged on the other side part and from there it is returned into the cooling medium circulation in the housing. The cooling medium pump is arranged in the casing mantle part and a propeller or impeller thereof is arranged in a cooling hollow chamber of the other side part. A speed of rotation control regulator is arranged on a shaft of the cooling medium pump for fresh air supply and a lubricating oil pump also can be arranged on a butt end of this shaft.

A rotary piston internal combustion engine includes two side parts and a casing cover part with a trochoidal shaped dual-arc casing inner surfacing of a fluid-cooled housing. An eccentric shaft passes axially through the housing. A triangular piston is journalled on an eccentric of the eccentric shaft with three corners of the piston gliding along the casing inner surfacing in a continuous sliding engagement. A belt drive connects the eccentric shaft with a refrigeration compressor of the same type of construction as the internal combustion engine. A fan wheel is arranged and joined by a universal coupling joint as to a telescopic part that is nonrotatable although axially shiftable relative to a mating telescopic part connected with an output shaft of the internal combustion engine connected by a first universal coupling joint and connected by a second universal coupling joint relative to the fan wheel. The telescopic parts include a polygon cross section for the inner part and an outer part which surrounds the inner part with a corresponding polygon-cylindrical inner shape slidable in the axial direction as is necessary to take up vibration impacts between the internal combustion engine fixed in a tubular frame and the fan wheel mounted in the housing frame. A shift between cooling operation and heating operation is made possible via a vaporization valve so that cooling medium circulation can be returned to the refrigeration compressor brought to a standstill when the circulation is switched to heating operation.

A delivery valve having a cylindrical sleeve in which are provided valve slots that extend in a circumferential direction and in front of which are disposed cylindrically bent valve reeds. The sleeve can be placed in axis-parallel bores in the housing of a rotary piston compressor for gaseous medium. Provided in the sleeve and in the walls of the housing bore are pockets to allow gaseous medium to flow about the valve reeds when they are in an opening position.

A gap seal formed between surfaces cooperating with each other such that operation free of engagement between the cooperating rotor and housing parts with respect to each other at relative speeds occurs subject to a roughened light-metal surface of one part cooperating with a covering of foamed synthetic material on the other part so as to assure gap seal therebetween rather than having any metal-to-metal and/or foamed-material to foamed-material interengagement. The foamed synthetic material covering of a surface preferably is made of polyurethane and the light-metal surface is made of aluminum roughened by sandblasting or etching. The lightweight metal part can have cavities and recess spaces therein to be filled with foamed material as well as other fins, ribs, and anchoring provision for holding the foamed synthetic material bodies in place. The applicability of the cooperating surfaces of lightweight metal parts and foamed synthetic material parts includes rotary piston engines having different configuration of lobes of rotating pistons as well as cooperating surfaces of a spiral compressor and also a screw compressor for delivery of working medium free of oil and bearing grease.

A heat-pump arrangement with an installation consisting of a motor and a compressor of trochoidal type construction adapted to conditions of heat pump systems to have the smallest structural size and nominal heat spread arranged between heat storage or accumulator and outlet large heat quantities per time unit passing therethrough as well as also being able to operate economically at low partial load range of operation. An intermediate part is provided between a motor and a compressor. Two annular chambers are arranged parallel and axially next to each other. An annular chamber is located toward the motor. The middle part has a dual-arc troichoidal-shaped casing or mantle runway and two side parts which have an eccentric shaft passing therethrough at right angles to the side parts; a triangular piston rotates upon an eccentric of the eccentric shaft for the motor and a compressor of the same type of construction is also arranged on the same eccentric shaft shared in common with the motor. The pistons and the eccentrics of the two machines balance or counterbalance each other during corresponding displacement of piston positioning so that a considerable shortening of the axial structural length is attainable along with a quietness of running of the machines.
