A measuring body device is provided for a position/path measurement system, having at least one fixing band, with a first and a second end, to fix the measuring body device to an application. A measuring body in the form of a band is provided with at least one coding layer associated with the fixing band. At least one connecting mechanism fixes the first and second ends of the fixing band relative to one another. The connecting mechanism is a bridge element, fixed or fixable relative to the ends of the fixing band. At least one path storage device is arranged on the bridge element with a first transverse element, a second transverse element, spaced apart from the first transverse element, and a web element which connects the first and second transverse elements and which is integrally connected thereto. A spacing between the first and second transverse elements is determinably adjustable.

Encoded scale bodies for position/displacement measuring systems and position/displacement measurement systems including scale bodies are disclosed. An encoded scale body includes a support band and at least one encoding layer made of encoding material. The encoding layer is arranged on the support band. The encoded scale body further includes a cover band which covers the encoding material towards an outside space. The cover band is formed by the support band. The support band/cover band is elastically flexible. The support band, which is the mechanical holder for the encoding material, may serve to mechanically stabilize the encoded scale body. The cover band covers the encoding material and may protect the encoding layer from external effects such as, in particular, mechanical forces. The flexible support band/cover band may permit the encoded scale body to be used as band material, and for example, a roll material.

A position transducer device is provided for detecting the position of a position transmitter. The position transducer device comprises a housing extending in a longitudinal direction and a measuring sensor arranged in the housing and extending parallel to the longitudinal direction. The position transmitter is coupled to the measuring sensor in a non-contacting manner. The outer surface of the housing is designed such that it can be enclosed at least partially by a fixing receiving means for fixing the housing to an application. The housing can be rotated relative to the position transmitter in the fixing receiving means in order to enable adjustment of the distance between the measuring sensor and the position transducer.

In order to provide a position transducer device for detecting the position of a position transmitter, comprising a housing extending in a longitudinal direction and a measuring sensor arranged in the housing and extending parallel to the longitudinal direction, the position transmitter being coupled to this measuring sensor without contact, which is variable in its use for a user it is suggested that an outer surface of the housing be designed such that it can be enclosed at least partially by a fixing receiving means for fixing it to an application and that the housing can be rotated in the fixing receiving means.
