The invention relates to a universal closure device () for openings () of sample containers () having different cross-sections (). The closure device () comprises a shaft part () extending in the direction of a longitudinal axis () and a plurality of sealing elements (), which are disposed in the region of an outer surface () of the shaft part () and are intended for applying to an inner lateral surface () of the sample container () to be closed, wherein said lateral surface faces the longitudinal axis (). The sealing elements () arranged on the shaft part () are arranged in succession in a circumferential plane and in the circumferential direction of the shaft part (). At least one supporting element () is arranged and extends between the sealing element () and the outer surface () of the shaft part ().

Universal closure device

The invention discloses a method and a production installation for producing a sub-assembly consisting of a plurality of parts joined together, in which the first part () and second part () are removed from a parts delivery site in the vicinity of a transport device and deposited oriented in position on one of a plurality of parts transport carriers of the transport device, and subsequently together with the parts transport carrier transported to an assembly station. The parts transport carrier is stopped in the assembly station in a holding position, whereupon the parts (), oriented towards one another, are moved by means of a vertical positioning device () together from a transport position on the parts transport carrier into a preparation position, then positioned relative to one another, clamped and then joined to form a sub-assembly, whereupon the joined subassembly is again deposited on one of a plurality of parts transport carriers and transported away thereby. The parts transport carriers comprise a receiver with just one positioning means for holding one of the parts () during the transport and projecting lateral guide surfaces arranged spaced apart from one another in the advancing direction thereof, as well as two support surfaces for a part () supported thereon.

Production installation and method for joining parts

An adjustable steering column for a motor vehicle includes a setting unit displaceable in at least one setting direction, a holding unit nondisplaceable in this setting direction, and a securement device. In the opened state of the securement device, the setting unit is displaceable with respect to the holding unit for setting the position of the steering column and, in the closed state of the securement device, the setting unit is secured with respect to the holding unit by the securement device. The securement device includes a clamp bolt penetrating openings in the setting unit and holding unit, at least one tooth plate penetrated by the clamp bolt, which tooth plate comprises at least one toothing (set of teeth) with teeth directed away from the clamp bolt. The holding unit has at least one toothing (set of teeth), facing the clamp bolt for cooperation with the at least one toothing of the tooth plate in the closed state of the securement device. The tooth plate is implemented elastically flexibly and disposed between the holding unit and a press-on part, penetrated by the longitudinal axis of the clamp bolt, by which it is pressed onto the holding unit in the closed state of the securement device. The at least one toothing of the tooth plate in the opened state of the securement device is spaced apart by spring force in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the clamp bolt from the at least one toothing of the holding unit.

Adjustable steering column for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a production line () for assembling and/or processing components () transported on workpiece holders (), incorporating several conveyor sections () disposed one after the other, each of which has at least one separate forward feed mechanism () which is independent of the adjacent conveyor sections () and at least one co-operating guide mechanism with two oppositely lying guide tracks (), along which the workpiece holder () disposed between them, incorporating guide elements to provide a height and lateral guiding action, can be moved and positioned. The guide elements of the workpiece holder () have a groove-shaped recess for engaging in the guide tracks () spaced at a distance apart from one another transversely to the feed direction () and at least one guide track () is provided in at least one of the conveyor sections () which can be raised by means of an adjusting mechanism from a non-operating position outside an obstruction gauge of the workpiece holder () into a position above the transport plane () and displaced into an engaged position locating with the recesses of the guide elements transversely to a longitudinal direction of the guide track ().

Production plant for assembling and/or processing components transported on workpiece supports

The disclosure describes a production plant (1) for the machining or assembly of components (3) transported on workpiece carriers, which has lateral guide lanes and vertical guide lanes (13, 14) and a feed device (15), arranged independently of the latter devices, for the workpiece carriers. This comprises lane sections (11, 12) arranged successively, each one of which is assigned at least one feed device (15) of its own, which is independent of the adjacent sections and has a belt-type driving element (30) and that two vertical guide lanes (13) are arranged spaced apart across the conveying direction, which are assigned the belt-type driving element (30) and the feed drive (15) forms a lateral guide lane (14).
