A method is provided for injecting a substance into a boiler of a waste incineration plant using a gaseous propellant, the substance being conducted, starting from at least one distributor, via lines which branch off from the distributor, in each case to a nozzle which is assigned to the respective line and by means of which the substance and the propellant are injected into the boiler. The substance quantity to be conducted to the respective nozzle is set in the distributor. The boiler is subdivided into multiple boiler sectors, in which the nozzles are arranged in a plurality of horizontal nozzle planes. To each boiler sector at least one separate distributor is assigned. The substance and the propellant are combined upstream of the branch-off with the respective line.

Method for injecting a substance into a boiler of a waste incineration plant

A method is disclosed for producing elastomer compounds for use in the production of rubbers. At least one elastomer to be processed for the production of an elastomer mixture can be slowly added to a mixer/extruder and is mixed and plasticized and/or masticated (melted) while it passes through the mixer/extruder. The elastomer, when slowly added to the mixer/extruder, can be present in a fluid medium in an evenly distributed form.

Elastomer mixtures for rubber manufacture

A device for dosing and/or mixing highly viscous and non-flowable materials, especially pigment pastes. The device includes a funnel which revolves about its own axis and a twin screw arranged inside the funnel. The twin screw arranged in a horizontal position in the funnel and contacts the interior wall thereof. This arrangement ensures that all moveable parts of the device mutually strip and clean one another.
