A mobile communications antenna comprises at least one antenna housing with a housing front side, a housing rear side, a first lateral housing side and a second lateral housing side opposite to the first. In the antenna housing, there are multiple radiating elements or pairs of radiating elements. The antenna further includes at least two amplifier modules, wherein each amplifier module comprises a first connection port and a second connection port and the amplifier modules are mounted on the exterior of the antenna housing. The connection ports are connected to corresponding first and second connection contact devices via plug-in connections. At least one signal processing and/or control unit is disposed in a housing, which is separate from the amplifier modules, in or on the antenna housing of the mobile communications antenna. The at least one signal processing and/or control unit comprises at least one digital interface to a baseband unit or to the mobile communication network and interfaces to the separate amplifier modules.

A device for transmitting and receiving signals for a radio network comprises an air interface; a MIMO antenna; and an antenna-side frequency conversion device provided between the air interface and a home distribution network. The antenna-side frequency conversion device comprises at least one frequency converter via which the receive signals obtained via the at least one polarization of the dual-polarized antenna or via at least one of the at least two antennae can be converted into an intermediate frequency range that is unused and/or free in the home distribution network. At least one receive-side frequency back-conversion device is provided between the home distribution network and a receiver. The receive-side frequency back-conversion device is configured in such a way that a frequency back-conversion of the frequencies converted into an unused frequency range can be fed back into the received frequency range.

Device for transmitting and receiving mobile radio signals by means of a stationary antenna

An antenna comprising a reflector () connected to a motor drive (), a primary radiator () for transceiving a radio beam at an operating frequency impinged on the reflector () is disclosed. A coarse alignment system comprising a motor drive is connected to the reflector () for driving at least one of the rotation and the tilting of the reflector. The coarse alignment system () comprising an auxiliary antenna () connected to the control device () for communicating with a further auxiliary antenna (), at a second frequency different from the operating frequency. A fine alignment system is also present for electronic adjustment of the radio beam. A control device controls the coarse alignment system and the fine alignment system.

The first receiver means are arranged in the first subsection and are arranged to receive telecommunications signals in a first polarization, the second receiver means are arranged in the second support subsection to receive telecommunications signals in said second polarization, the first transmitter means are arranged in the third support, subsection to transmit telecommunications signals in a second polarization, and the second transmitter means are arranged in the fourth subsection to transmit telecommunications signals in said first polarization.

Multiband antenna

An antenna transmission control device has a base-station-side and an antenna-side multiplexer circuit. There is an alternating protocol transfer between these two multiplexer circuits to control components close to the antenna. The current-alarmed or protocol-alarmed signals present at the antenna-side terminals of the multiplexer provided on the antenna side can be measured or detected by the multiplexer circuits and supplied to the transmission link together with a terminal-dependent or load-dependent protocol.
