A linear guide for a coordinate measuring machine. The linear guide comprises at least one plate-shaped main body and at least one guide rail. The plate-shaped main body has a material with a first coefficient of thermal expansion. The at least one guide rail has a material with a second coefficient of thermal expansion, which differs from the first coefficient of thermal expansion. The guide rail is connected to the plate-shaped main body, and arranged in a neutral axis of the plate-shaped main body.

A holding apparatus is provided for holding a device to be used under sterile conditions. The apparatus includes a holder unit () to which the device () is to be fixed. The holder unit () has a holder portion for fixing a drape () so that a held device () and the holder portion are substantially air-tightly enclosed. A cavity () in the holder unit () has a cavity portion () for communicating with an intermediate space between a fixed drape () and the device (). A pumping-out device () is in the cavity () for pumping air out of the cavity portion and the intermediate space. The cavity portion () is sealed in the pumping-out operation to prevent the make-up flow of air out of other regions than the intermediate space between a fixed drape () and the device () or the holder portion.

Device holding apparatus

A support, which may be a ceiling support, is designed to receive an operation microscope, and particularly may support a medical operation microscope. This support has a support column, movable around a rotation axis, with a first carrier arm and a second carrier arm which, with respect to the first carrier arm, can be moved around a first pivot axis and a second pivot axis. A cable connection is provided for producing a restoring force for the second carrier arm, and couples the second carrier arm to a counterweight for producing a restoring force around the second pivot axis. The counterweight is arranged in the region of the support column, to minimize inertial action accompanying a movement of the support around the rotation axis. A freewheel rotary joint is provided in the cable connection to suppress a feedback to the counterweight of a movement of the second carrier arm around the first pivot axis.

Medical support

A stand arrangement () for a medical-optical instrument includes a first link () which is pivotally journalled on a holding unit () with a first rotational joint. The stand arrangement further includes a second link () which is rotatably connected to the first link () via a second rotational joint (). In a forward section () of the second link (), a take-up unit () for medical-optical equipment () is held with a third rotational joint (). The take-up unit () includes a front link () which is coupled to a device for force transmission (). This device is rotatably journalled on the second rotational joint (). In the stand arrangement (), a device is provided for coupling the holding unit and the device for force transmission. This device for coupling includes a flexible force transmitting element () which can be loaded in tension.

Stand arrangement for a medical-optical instrument

A support is designed to receive an operation microscope. This support has a support column, movable around a rotation axis, with a first carrier arm and a second carrier arm which, with respect to the first carrier arm, can be moved around a first pivot axis and a second pivot axis. Support

This electric motor is supplied with current in correspondence to a detected position of the rotational joint (). A current control curve required for this purpose is stored in a memory. This current control curve can be determined in that the rotational joints are deflected with the electric motor into predetermined positions and the current demand needed therefor is detected. The holding arrangement () has a unit for actively damping vibration including a vibration damping control loop. This vibration damping control loop outputs a superposition motor current to the electric motor as an actuating quantity in order to move the rotational joint () with the electric motor so that a detected vibration of the holding arrangement () is countered.

The stand arrangement () further includes a second link () which is rotatably connected to the first link () via a second rotational joint (). A take-up unit () for medical-optical equipment is held in a forward section () of the second link () by a third rotational joint. The take-up unit () includes a front link () which, in turn, is connected via a third link () and a fourth link () to the second rotational joint (). The holding unit () and the fourth link () are coupled with the aid of a toothed gear unit () in such a manner that the orientation of the front link () does not change with the movement of the first link ().

A pivot mounting assembly is provided including a pivot arm ( ) hinged to a pivot base ( ) for mounting a load in a vertically adjustable manner. A first force-providing device ( ) is hinged with its first operative end to the pivot arm and is supported with its second ( ) operative ends on the pivot base for providing an antitorque moment to at least partially compensate for a torque imparted by the load on the pivot arm. The pivot base is provided with a support surface ( ) in which the support location ( ) for the second operative end is shiftable. A stand for movable equipment has a first stand part and a second stand part that is movable relative to the first stand part and includes a pivot arm hinged to the first stand part and pivotable around a pivot axis.
