The invention relates to a windshield wiper drive (), particularly a motor vehicle rear window wiper drive, comprising a housing () having an output dome () penetrated by a wiper shaft () and penetrating a contact disk (), said dome having an external thread () in the region of the free end () thereof, onto which a nut () is screwed for tightening the contact disk (), the nut being disposed inside a protective cap () penetrated by the wiper shaft (). The invention provides that the protective cap () comprises an elastomer material. The invention further relates to a motor vehicle.
