The present invention relates to a solid molecular dispersion of from 3:97 to 12:88 weight % ratio of fesoterodine hydrogen fumarate and a polymeric binder selected from the group consisting of an alkyl hydroxyalkylcellulose ether, a hydroxyalkylcellulose ether, an ester of either thereof, and a mixture of any two or more thereof.

This invention relates to kits for the preparation of a composition, which comprises a carrier phase that forms an implant or particles in the body, on the body or under physiological conditions. The carrier phase comprises at least one solid carrier material and a solvent, wherein the carrier material and the solvent are stored separately in the kit. The kit can also include an additional liquid phase to aid in forming the particles. An active compound included in the carrier phase is generally released in an extended manner. This invention also relates to compositions prepared from this kit and to methods for the preparation of the kits and the composition.

Implants, particles

The invention relates to extended release compositions that can be advantageously used as drug products, plant protection agents, in foods or other products. The invention especially relates to liquid compositions in which extended release particles are dispersed. The compositions according to this invention are available in the form of single-dose or multi-dose compositions and as such are produced from liquid preproducts. The invention further relates to kits and methods for producing the compositions and to the preproducts thereof.

Extended release particle dispersion

The invention relates to the combination of polyvinyl acetate and water-insoluble, acid-insoluble, or alkali-insoluble polymers used for producing film coatings for forms of administration in which agents are released in a controlled manner, and methods for the production thereof. The controlled-release properties can be specifically adjusted by means of said combinations, resulting in films having excellent mechanical stability and storage stability. In particular, agents are released independent of the pH by means of the inventive forms of administration.

The invention relates to a preparation comprising a carrier phase and at least one further phase which cannot be mixed with the carrier phase or only partially mixed therewith, wherein the change in ambient conditions alters the viscosity of the carrier phase. The invention also relates to a method for the production thereof and to particles and implants containing said preparations. The inventive preparations can contain various active substances with a delayed release action.

Multiphase system

The method according to the present invention includes the step of adding sufficient amounts of an alkalinizing agent to an aqueous solution into which a redispersible polymer powder will be dispersed or to an aqueous dispersion which will be dried to form a redispersible polymer powder. The method of the invention is particularly well suited for nonionic polymers. A surfactant, plasticizer and/or preservative can also be used in addition to the alkalinizing agent. Redispersible polymer powders processed according to the invention form acceptable tablet coatings which are comparable in quality to those coatings formed from aqueous polymer dispersions that have not been dried into redispersible polymer powders.

Method for improving the dispersion of redispersible polymer powders

Stick formulations for topical delivery of water soluble and/or water insoluble agents are disclosed. The stick formulations may contain steroids, antibiotics, antifungals, antihistamines anti inflammatories or local anesthetics. The vehicles comprise a combination of waxes and oils and a surfactant in embodiments involving water soluble agents. Methods for preparing the various stick formulations are also disclosed.
