The invention concerns a coaxial connector plug and mating plug in which the connector plug has a connector housing that is open at the front end for plugging in the mating plug and contains a canal holding an insulated internal conductor contact, with a clamp sleeve and a sliding sleeve that can be moved axially to mechanically connect the connector housing with the mating plug, wherein the sliding sleeve surrounds the clamp sleeve in the operating position and exerts on it a force directed radially inward in the operating position, and wherein the clamp sleeve can be made to rest against the mating plug at a clamp surface, and wherein an outer conductor contact surface of the mating plug can be clamped axially against an outer conductor contact surface of the connector plug. The purpose of the invention is to create a connector plug of the sort described above, where an outer conductor contact surface of the mating plug can be axially clamped against an outer conductor contact surface of the connector plug, independent of the shape of the clamp surface, in other words, even if the clamp surface is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the mating plug. This purpose is achieved in that the clamp sleeve () has an end section () with a part () extending diagonally outward followed by a part () extending diagonally inward and backward, wherein an axial force component (F) is exerted in the operating position by the clamp sleeve () on the clamp surface () via the part () extending backward and in that the clamp sleeve () has a widening part () between the connector plug and the end section () followed by a narrowing part ().

Connector plug and mating plug

A plug connector has a U-shaped snap-on clip with a web, which incorporates a contact lug. The web is seated in a slot of the casing. A contact is situated at the end of the U-shaped snap-on clip, between its arms. An opening for inserting a contact pin is situated in the top side of the housing. This contact pin spreads the arms of the U-shaped snap-on clip, so that they detach from the contact. This plug connector, which is especially suited for use in a cordless radiotelephone, is distinguished by a small structural size, low production costs, a small number of components, high contact reliability, and an especially low juncture resistance.

A plug connector with a hollow, cylindrical, metallic housing ( ), within which is centrically disposed an inside contact pin ( ) extending at least approximately over the entire axial length of the housing ( ). In order to make contact with the reciprocal plug connector, the inside contact pin ( ) is accessible at a first front side of the housing ( ). The first front side is open toward the plug side of the plug connector, such that a latch interlock ( ) and a contact basket ( ), which extends out of the open front side of the housing ( ) and which is rotatably mounted about the longitudinal axis of the housing ( ), are disposed co-axially with the inside contact pin ( ). The contact basket ( ) makes permanent electrical contact with the metallic housing.
