A belt tensioner, comprising a first and second tensioning arm supported on a generator housing, a first and second tensioning roller attached to the first and second tensioning arms and configured to apply a pre-tensioning force to an auxiliary unit belt drive, and a bow spring clamped between the first and second tensioning arms in axial overlap with the tensioning rollers and configured to produce the pre-tensioning force.

Belt tensioner

A belt pulley decoupler is provided for transmitting drive torque from belts of an auxiliary unit belt drive to the shaft of one of the auxiliary units, including: a belt pulley, a hub secured to the shaft, and a series circuit arranged in the drive torque flow between the belt pulley and the hub and including a decoupler spring and a wrap-around band that extends in the direction of the rotational axis of the belt pulley decoupler and is arranged radially between the belt pulley and the decoupler spring. Both ends of the wrap-around band open out radially when the drive torque is transmitted, the first end of the wrap-around band is braced against the inner surface of a first sleeve rotationally fixed in the belt pulley, and the second end of the wrap-around band is braced against the inner surface of a second sleeve rotationally mounted in the first sleeve.

Belt pulley decoupler

A belt pulley decoupler includes a belt pulley, a hub to be fixed on the shaft, and a series connection made up of a decoupler spring and a wrap-around band arranged in the drive torque flow between the belt pulley and the hub. The wrap-around band extends about direction of the axis of rotation of the belt pulley decoupler and is arranged radially between the belt pulley and the decoupler spring. Under transmission of the drive torque, both ends of the wrap-around band widen radially, with one end of the wrap-around band being braced against the inner surface of a first sleeve that is rotationally fixed in the belt pulley, and another end being braced against the inner surface of a second sleeve that is rotatable within the belt pulley.

Pulley decoupler

A clamping device () for a starter generator belt drive of an internal combustion engine. The clamping device includes a tensioner housing (), a tensioning arm () mounted movably therein, and two idlers (), one of which is mounted to the tensioning arm and the other of which is mounted to the tensioner housing () in a stationary manner. A spring component which generates the pre-load force includes two helical compression springs () connected in series, the facing spring ends () of which are separated by an intermediate piece () mounted in the tensioner housing in a sliding manner. The tensioning arm has a pin projection (), which extends through the helical compression springs running inside the tensioning arm and which is mounted in the intermediate piece in a sliding manner.

Clamping device for a belt drive

A belt tensioner for attaching to a generator of an auxiliary unit drive of an internal combustion engine, including a tensioner housing mounted on the generator having a cavity, two tensioning rollers which act with a pretensioning force on the belt in a direction of revolution upstream and downstream of the pulley of the generator, a bow spring which produces the pretensioning force accommodated in the cavity, a circular-arc-shaped tensioning lever mounted in the cavity movable in a plane of the circular arc and which is acted on by the force of the bow springs and supports one of the tensioning rollers, and a sliding bearing for the tensioning lever, which sliding bearing extends at the inlet of the cavity. The tensioning lever has a steel core with an aluminum sheath which completely encloses the part of the steel core which extends outside the cavity and inside the sliding bearing.

A tensioning device () is provided for a starter generator drive belt of an internal combustion engine and a starter generator () equipped with such a tensioning device. It includes a tensioning housing () with two belt pulleys () and a bearing support () fastened at the machine housing () of the starter generator, on which the tensioning housing is pivotally supported via a friction bearing.

Tensioning device for a belt drive and electric engine with such a tensioning device

A tensioner (') for a traction mechanism such as a belt, chain or the like, with a tensioning lever () which can be acted on by a helical spring (), can pivot about a stationary shaft and on which a tensioning element is provided for abutment against the traction mechanism to be tensioned. The helical spring () is held at its ends by spring receptacles () and a means () is provided for delimiting the spring excursion.

Tensioner for a traction mechanism

An eccentric tensioning device for tensioning a traction means is provided. The eccentric tensioning device includes a track roller device having a running disk and a rolling bearing, a work eccentric for supporting the track roller device, the work eccentric being supported on an adjustment eccentric, a single torsion spring for pretensioning the work eccentric, and a fixing device for securing the work eccentric in a mounting position in which the torsion spring is located in a pretensioned state. The fixing device is positionable on a flange surface upon which the eccentric tensioning device is mountable during attachment, in which the running disk is forced radially relative to the rotating axis of the rolling bearing against the associated traction means under effect of the work eccentric, and a free switching path is traversed through an axial play being overcome against an axial force applied solely by the torsion spring.

Eccentric tensioning device

A tensioning device constructed, in particular, as a double eccentric tensioning device for a traction means drive is provided, which guarantees in the installed state a sufficient pretensioning of a traction means of the traction means drive. The invention provides advantages in the installation of the eccentric tensioning devices under assembly-specific aspects. This is provided by an eccentric tensioning device for a traction means drive, with a track roller device, which includes a running disk and a rolling bearing provided for supporting the disk. An operating eccentric for supporting the track roller device such that it can be displaced in a radial direction relative to the rotating axis of the rolling bearing according to a magnitude of the pivoting of the operating eccentric, and a torsion spring for pretensioning the operating eccentric in a pivoting direction are provided. The operating eccentric forces the track roller device carried by the eccentric against an allocated traction means. An adjustment eccentric for radial displacement of the operating eccentric is provided, and a fixing device for securing the operating eccentric in a mounting position, in which the torsion spring is held via a shearing structure. In this way, it is possible in an advantageous way to set the tensioning device as a pretensioned unit on the flange surface and to trigger activation of the tensioning device within the scope of the mounting measures caused with the attachment of the tensioning device.

Double eccentric tensioning device

A pretensioning tool is provided for an eccentric tensioning device, which is used for tensioning a power-transmission element constructed, for example, as a flat or toothed belt in a power-transmission drive. The tensioning tool has an engagement structure that can be coupled so that it is locked in rotation with a working eccentric from a front region facing away from the flange side of the eccentric tensioning device and a decoupling structure for implementing an axial displacement of the working eccentric relative to the bearing journal. In this way, it is possible to turn back the working eccentric by hand and with moderate hand forces against the tensioning moment applied by the torsion spring of the tensioning device into a mounting position and to secure the working eccentric in this mounting position through axial decoupling of this eccentric relative to a base plate device.

Pretensioning tool for an eccentric tensioning device

An eccentric tensioning device is provided for tensioning a power-transmission means constructed, for example, as a flat belt or toothed belt in a power-transmission means drive. The tensioning device can be brought into a pretensioned mounting state in an advantageous way. The eccentric tensioning device has a free roller device that includes a running disk and a roller bearing provided for supporting this disk, a working eccentric for supporting the free roller device, that can be displaced in the radial direction relative to the rotating axis of the roller bearing according to the magnitude of the pivoting of the working eccentric, a bearing journal device for supporting the working eccentric, a torsion spring for pretensioning the working eccentric, a fixing device for securing the working eccentric in a mounting position, in which the torsion spring is located in a pretensioned state, and an adjustment for supporting the bearing journal device. The adjustment eccentric has a rim encompassing the bearing journal device on an end facing away from a flange side and a passage device, through which an end region of the bearing journal device is accessible, is constructed in the region of this rim. In this way, it becomes possible in an advantageous way to create a tensioning device, in which the bearing journal device can be loaded on the end with an axial force used for the axial displacement of the working eccentric relative to the guide journal. It thus becomes possible to bring a tensioning device detached by unlocking the fixing device in an advantageous way into a pretensioned mounting state and in this way to reconfigure it into a mounting-ready state.
