A medical apparatus having a control device, the control device being designed to store a target current demand in accordance with requirements of a drive of the medical apparatus, and to determine a minimum current demand corresponding to a minimum requirement of the drive of the medical apparatus during a current operation and, based on the minimum current demand, to adapt a maximum value of the target current demand for the current operation of the medical apparatus, said maximum value being provided to limit the current.

Adaptive tool operation

An actuating unit for or of a surgical instrument operated by an electric motor and having a switch housing. The switch housing is separate and spaced apart from the surgical instrument and includes a frame, supports for supporting the switch housing on a substrate, at least one power supply unit for supplying power to at least one motor system of a surgical instrument connected to the actuating unit, a control and monitoring device designed to carry out and/or monitor at least one function, and a cable and/or a cable connection for connecting the cable for electrically coupling the actuating unit to a surgical instrument for operating the surgical instrument.

Integrated power unit IPU

A holding apparatus for holding a sterilizable medical product and for storing the medical product before and/or after the cleaning process, and a product monitoring system featuring such a holding apparatus. The holding apparatus includes a data processing device connectable to at least one sensor in a signal-conducting manner. The sensor is a temperature sensor for determining a temperature during the cleaning process and/or a pressure sensor for determining a static and/or dynamic pressure of a cleaning fluid during the cleaning process. The data processing device processes the sensor signals to form cleaning information and is connectable to a memory apparatus in a data-conducting manner, on which memory apparatus the cleaning information is storable. The cleaning information is retrievable or readable from the memory apparatus by an evaluation device such that a cleaning profile of the medical product can be determined based on the cleaning information.

Holding apparatus and product monitoring system

A power supply unit for a surgical instrument operated by an electric motor includes a battery-receiving housing separate and spaced apart from the surgical instrument. A fastening means or retainer fastens or retains the power supply unit to a body part of an operator. At least one power supply unit supplies power to at least one motor system. A control and monitoring device performs and/or monitors at least one function. A cable connection connects a cable for electrically coupling the power supply unit to a surgical instrument for operating the motor system thereof and/or for transmitting data and/or operating parameters.

Integrated power unit (IPU)

A keyless coupling for a tool shaft and a handpiece of a surgical instrument having a first coupling section, which is provided on a proximal section of the tool shaft, a second coupling section, which is provided on a distal section of a shaft holder of the handpiece, and a locking/unlocking element. The locking/unlocking element is arranged on the tool shaft and forms a latching section, and the shaft holder has an undercut for receiving the latching section in a locking position of the two coupling sections such that the latching section and the undercut are in latching engagement with one another and secure the two coupling sections against a relative axial movement with respect to one another at least in the pulling direction.

Keyless tool shaft coupling

A holding device for a packaging, more particularly for a sterile packaging, for holding, in a specific location, a medical tool having a tool shaft with a working end, which is to be protected against user-side contact, in a receiving space of the packaging, wherein the holding device has holding means for receiving, in a specific position, the tool, wherein the holding device has a stop for the working end for positioning the tool in the direction of the tool shaft.

A detector system for a medical motor system includes a multi-channel redundantly-configured detection device, which is accommodated in a hand-held control device that is adapted to control the medical motor system and which is positioned to detect the actuation of an actuation device of the hand-held control device. The multi-channel redundantly-configured detection device allows the plausibility of its output signals to be checked.

Sensor detection system

A tool fitting attachment for a surgical drill can include a drive-side coupling for mounting on a drive unit which provides a torque via a motor, and an output-side coupling for receiving a tool. A drive unit is integrated between the two couplings and can be manually operated. A surgical drill can include an electric motor which is connected via the drive-side coupling of the tool fitting attachment.

A coil former for an electric motor, in particular a high-speed surgical motor, in which a rotor is surrounded concentrically by the substantially hollow-cylindrical coil former, carries at least one stator winding. To ensure that as narrow an air gap as possible is permanently maintained between the coil former, which is preferably produced using an injection-molding method often with complex shaping, and a rotor, which runs in the coil former, the coil former is formed either by a non-conductive fully ceramic body, or is in the form of a composite body in which at least one dimension-stabilizing frame element is embedded by injection-molding with plastic in a plastic body which is preferably produced by injection molding.
