Systems and methods for enhanced rule-based querying of unstructured text using graph analysis are provided. Some embodiments apply machine learning to the analysis of unstructured text to identify regulatory, privacy, and cybersecurity risks. In some embodiments, a query string is provided to identify desired content in the unstructured text. The query string is tokenized and the tokenized parts are converted into nodes of a query graph and relationships are defining between the nodes. After identifying matches between terms in target text with nodes of the query graph, a graph is generated using matched terms as nodes. Based on the defined relationships, a determination is made whether any group of nodes on the graph satisfy the query string. Any matched nodes are mapped to the target text, and this information is provided to an analyst or reviewer for further consideration or action.

System and method for querying of unstructured text using graph analysis

Systems and methods for detecting and using semantic relatedness to classify segments of digital text are disclosed. More particularly, embodiments determine the semantic relatedness of segments of text to abstract categories where the abstract categories are not defined by a single word or semantic concept. Detecting semantic relatedness includes analyzing text, embedding the text, and determining semantic relatedness to a set of concepts for a category where each concept may include a set of words/phrases embedded in a similar fashion. The text embedding can be projected onto each concept embedding and reduced to a score representing semantic relatedness. The text is classified based on the semantic relatedness.

Systems and methods for identifying participants in multimedia data streams

Systems, methods, and program products are provided for the calibration and scanning of multiple AFM probe heads used employed together for synchronous scanning. An automated calibration process is provided employing scan data from multiple AFM probe heads to automatically calibrate the system and position the probe heads at relative offset positions that are successively closer and more precise. Multiple heads are scanned simultaneously and synchronously to produce scan images, which are automatically evaluated to recognize a common feature. From this, a relative offset of the images is calculated and the true position of each probe tip may be known. Using this knowledge, a position offset is applied to bring the probe tips closer together at a desired spatial relationship. The techniques may be repeated at two or more levels varying from coarse to fine, and may be repeated after probing or movement to a new region of interest.

A scanning probe microscope's probe tip dimensions as they exist or existed for a certain data or measurement are inferred based on probe activity taking place since a probe characterization procedure was performed. The inferred probe tip dimensions can be used to correct nanoscale measurements taken by the probe to account for changes in the probe's geometry such as wear.

The preferred embodiments are directed to a method and apparatus of operating a scanning probe microscope (SPM) to perform sample measurements using a survey scan that is less than five lines, and more preferably two lines, to accurately locate a field of features of a sample. This is accomplished by selecting a step distance between adjacent lines of the survey scan that does not equal the pitch of the features in a direction orthogonal to the direction the survey scan traverses, i.e., does not equal the pitch of the features in the scan direction, X. The aspect ratio of the scans can also be modified to further improve sample throughput.
