A host device having a first processor executes an application via the first processor. The host device determines a state of the application. A scenegraph is generated corresponding to the state of the application, and the scenegraph is presented to a remote device having a display and a second processor. The remote device is configured to, in response to receiving the scenegraph, render to the display a view corresponding to the scenegraph, without executing the application via the second processor.

Application sharing

A mixed reality system is disclosed that displays 3D content in a container referred to as a 'prism,' and also displays a related content item, such as an interactive menu for interacting with the 3D content. To maintain the content item accessible to the user, the system repositions the content item relative to the prism as the user moves relative to the prism. For example, in the context of an annotation toolbar, the system may move the toolbar from one surface of the prism to another in response to the user walking around the prism, entering the prism, or changing a head pose in the prism. In some embodiments, the content item is displayed in a reserved region in which the 3D content is not displayable, such that the 3D content does not interfere with the user's ability to view and access the content item.

Body-centric content positioning relative to three-dimensional container in a mixed reality environment

Presenting content within an application on a device is disclosed. Receiving notification of new content within an application at a device is disclosed. Presenting the received notification at the device is disclosed. Receiving a selection of the notification, and displaying the new content in the screen directly following receiving the selection of the notification are disclosed. Notification can be received outside the application, e.g., by posting notification on a social network, posting notification to a web site, and posting a message to a user's avatar in a virtual world. A selection can be received while the device is offline, in which case the new content displayed is that content stored on the device.

An apparatus, and an associated method, for a communication device having a SIM card, or other removable storage element, that permits hot-swapping of the storage element. Notification of hot-swapping of the removable storage element is detected. Responsive to the detection, provision is made to resubscribe to push service notifications that are disabled upon removal of the removable storage element.

Interconnect call information from an interconnect communication system is obtained. The information identifies a target dispatch subscriber unit in a dispatch communication system. A request is received from a source dispatch subscriber unit. The request includes the interconnect call information. The interconnect call information identifying the target dispatch subscriber unit is extracted from the request. The interconnect call information of the target dispatch subscriber is related to unique dispatch call connection information of the target dispatch subscriber in a dedicated database. The unique dispatch call connection information concerning the target dispatch subscriber unit from the dedicated database in the dispatch communication system is retrieved using the extracted interconnect call information from the request.
