The invention concerns the cosmetic or dermatological use of at least one compound of formula (I), wherein: R, R, R, R, Rand G are such as defined in the description as whitening and/or depigmenting agents for the skin and/or hairs and/or the hair. The invention also concerns a cosmetic method for whitening and/or lightening the skin and/or hairs and/or the hair comprising applying a composition of the invention. 

Use of polyunsaturated compounds as whitening agents

The invention concerns novel polyunsaturated compounds of formula (I) wherein: Rrepresents a R', -A-R&#x2032;group, R&#x2032;being selected from &#x2014;COOH, &#x2014;COOR, &#x2014;CONH, &#x2014;CONHR, &#x2014;CONRR, &#x2014;CHO, &#x2014;CHOH, &#x2014;CHOR, and A represents a C-Calkylene, alkenylene or alkynylene; Rrepresents: an optionally substituted aryl group or an optionally substituted heteroaryl group; a sugar residue or, a fatty acid residue optionally branched and/or substituted preferably at the chain terminus and particularly by hydroxy, acetoxy radical or by an optionally protected amino radical; a &#x2014;OC &#x2014;(CH)n CO-tocopheryl (alpha, beta or gamma or delta) group, with 2 $m(F) n $m(F) 10; a &#x2014;R&#x2032;&#x2014;O&#x2014;Rgroup, wherein R&#x2032;is an optionally substituted arylene group or an optionally substituted heteroarylene group, and Rrepresents a hydrogen atom, a straight or branched optionally substituted C-Calkyl, a straight or branched optionally substituted C-Calkenyl, or a straight or branched C-Calkynyl group, an optionally substituted tocopheryl radical or the like, an amino acid residue, or a sugar residue. The invention also concerns the compositions, in particular cosmetic and/or dermatological compositions containing at least one compound of formula (I) as well as their use as whitening and/or depigmenting agent, and the cosmetic method using said compositions.

Polyunsaturated compounds, method for preparing same and compositions containing the same

The invention relates to unsaturated fatty hydroxy acid derivatives of formula (I), wherein Ris independent from each other H or linear or branched alkyl group which contain from 1 to 6 carbon atoms and which are possibly substituted by a halogen atom, in particular a fluorine atom, Ris H, F, Cl, Br or CF, R is H or linear or branched alkyl group which contain from 1 to 6 carbon atoms and which are possibly substituted by a halogen atom, in particular a fluorine atom and 3=n=14. Said derivatives is suitable for producing an anti-radical, anti-inflammatory and antipruritic dermocosmetologic composition and/or for treating keratinisation and pigmentation troubles and/or for improving healing.

Unsaturated fatty hydroxy acid derivatives and the dermocosmetologic use thereof

The invention relates to the use of 5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazinic compounds of general formula (I), wherein cycle penetrating bonds display an ortho, meta or para indifferent substitution position, identical or different R1 and R2 represent a hydrogen, fluoride, chloride or bromine atom, C1 to C12 linear or branched alkyl, C1 A C18 linear or branched hydroxy, alkoxy poly(ethoxy)-alkoxy with a C1 to C4 alkyl fragment and an ethoxy number ranging from 1 to 4, amino or mono or di-alkylamino with a C1 to C4 alkyl fragment group, R3 represents a chlorine atom, a hydroxy, amino, a phenyl possibly 1 to 3 times substituted by a hydroxy radical situated at least in a para or phenyl position possibly 1 to 3 times substituted in an ortho, meta or para position by a C1 to C12 alkoxy or cyano or alkymino group with a C1 to C7 alkyl fragment in the form of active sun filters or light-protective agents and to cosmetic composition containing said compounds.

The present invention relates to a ternary glucosyl complex which is a bioprecursor of at least one retinoic active ingredient for percutaneous application, having formula (I), wherein E represents a linear hydrocarbon spacer group that is branched or cyclized and has an aliphatic or aromatic content capable of containing one or several heteroatoms of oxygen and carrying one or several carbonyl groups; A represents a radical of a molecule of said retinoic active ingredient linked to the spacer group by a carboxylate function and n&equals;1 or 2.

Bioprecursors of a retinoic derivative and pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic compositions

The invention concerns a composition capable of being hydrolyzed by a cutaneous enzyme, glucocerebrosidase. The active precursor is advantageously a gluco-conjugate derived from phenol whereof the two &agr; carbons are free. The invention also concerns the use of such compositions against light-induced skin ageing or for making a medicine for treating certain skin diseases. The invention further concerns novel glucosylated compounds.
