A disposable applicator has a translucent bonder tip member that forms an orthodontic attachment which bonds to the surface of the tooth in one easy motion, where an orthodontic wire or rubber band may be placed thereon and held in position to correct irregular teeth of an individual. The curing resin is placed in a shaped contour cavity of the bonder tip member and then it is positioned against each surface of the tooth. Then a curing light is shined on the resin through the translucent bonder tip member so that the resin becomes hardened and forms the orthodontic attachment on the surface of the tooth. The disposable applicator may also retain a conventional orthodontic button therein so that an orthodontist can rapidly and effortlessly bond the orthodontic button to each surface of the tooth.

Disposable applicator for forming and retaining an orthodontic attachment

A quick-release mechanism for an orthodontic headgear assembly, which has a bracket integrally formed with a traction force device and a connecting structure attached to ends of a neckstrap or headstrap. The bracket has two opposite horizontal parallel arms that extend rearwardly and a vertical rod integrally attached between the two opposite parallel arms. The connecting structure is snapped onto the vertical rod for retaining the traction force device and the neckstrap in position. The quick-release mechanism is disconnected by vertically pulling the connecting structure and the bracket apart from each other at a predetermined force, thereby releasing the connecting structure from the bracket.

Quick-release mechanism for orthodontic headgear assembly

A disposable resin applicator is used for applying a small, precise mound of resin to hold an orthodontic wire to the teeth of a patient. The disposable resin applicator assists an orthodontist to bond curing resin to the teeth to retain the wire used to stabilize the teeth after or during orthodontic movement. The resin applicator has a translucent wire bonder tip which has two opposite wire slots through which the orthodontic wire can be inserted therein. An alignment guide runs the length of the wire bonder tip on either side so that it is easy to visually view where the wire slots are to place on the orthodontic wire. The curing resin is placed in a tiny cup on the wire bonder tip and then it is placed over the orthodontic wire on the tooth so that the wire fits in the two wire slots such that the wire bonder tip can be held by a dental tool. Then a curing light is shined on the resin through the translucent wire bonder tip so that the resin becomes hardened and holds the orthodontic wire to the teeth.

Disposable resin applicator

A golf putting practice system which is a complete golf putting system to train a golfer in the fine points in putting a golf ball. The putting practice system comprises an elongated putting track and a training device. The putting track is used to simulate a true golf course turf for putting the golf ball. The training device is provided for line of sight for the golfer. The elongated putting track is made from three pieces which comprises a front uphill ramp including a width adjustable channel, a middle uphill ramp and a rear uphill ramp including a cooperating ball return gutter and cup hole. The training device comprises two L-shaped attachment deflection members with two adjustable guide pointers, removably attached to a face of a conventional golf putter.

Golf putting practice system

An electrically driven dental flossing device which is used for flossing teeth. A flossing assembly is adapted to be mounted to the electrically driven dental flossing device. The dental flossing assembly includes a disposable floss holder which comprises a bow with a stem which in turn is replaceably mounted to a unitary driving shaft adaptor which in turn is mounted to the upper end of the electrically driven dental flossing device. The dental flossing device is gripped in the hand and the thumb is placed over the normally open spring urged thumb switch means. The flossing device works such that the dental floss material on the floss bow moves reciprocally between the teeth when the switch means is activated to energize a motor means within the handle to operate a gearing means which in turn moves the driving shaft adaptor in a reciprocating straight line in a back and forth motion to move the floss bow relative to the interproximal surfaces of the teeth.

The present invention apparatus is a golf putting training device for training a golfer to properly putt a golf ball in a training environment. Training apparatus comprises two elongated telescoping guide members each having an outer guide and an inner guide, the guide members are removably affixed to the head portion of the golf putter.

Apparatus for training a golfer to properly putt a golf ball

A system and method is disclosed for obtaining precisely registered, articulated castings of upper and lower dental impressions. The dental impressions are obtained through use of a dental tray. The tray has an upper and a lower section, each having a non-porous, bite-deformable central septum. Each tray section has a U-shaped peripheral wall. The tray sections are placed back-to-back so that the septums are in movable contact with each other. Means are provided to maintain the upper and lower tray sections in position with respect to each other once they have been adjusted. A cavity is formed in the upper or lower tray section, or both, adjacent to the anterior portion of the peripheral retaining wall. The cavity extends past the dividing septums to accommodate gross overbite and/or underbite conditions.

Apparatus for constructing registered teeth castings

An extraoral orthodontic appliance including a harness for mounting on the head and/or neck of a patient and connected to a conventional corrective tractive apparatus, such as a set of J-hooks, a face bow or a chin cup, by traction force devices (force modules) mounted on each side of the harness. The force modules incorporate force reels that are internally force-biased by inexpensive non-constant (cumulative) force, clock-type springs of large extension which can be adjusted to desired tractive force levels by winding and preset so as to apply a substantially constant tractive force during treatment periods, regardless of movement of the patient's head or jaw. Further, the force modules may include means to limit the extent to which the corrective tractive apparatus can be extended and retracted thereby protecting the patient from injury during placement and removal of the appliance or accidental uncontrolled retraction.

Orthodontic appliance

A system and method is disclosed for obtaining precisely registered, articulated castings of upper and lower dental impressions. The dental impressions are obtained through use of a dental tray having a non-porous, bite-deformable central septum. The impression material for the upper dental impression is contained in the upper portion of the tray. The impression material for the lower dental impression is contained in the lower portion of the tray and is supported by a bottom cover which is removed subsequent to placement of the tray in the mouth. As the patient bites, the impression material in the upper and lower portions of the dental tray is molded to the contour of the teeth and gums in their proper relationship with the teeth closed. After the material has set, the tray containing registered upper and lower impressions is removed from the mouth and placed into a mold. The mold consists of two end pieces which are adapted to hold the tray between and to form a seal with the tray so that casting material during the same operation can be poured between each of the end pieces and the set impression material. After the casting material is hardened and the castings are registered, the mold is removed, thus leaving precisely registered castings of the patient's teeth. When articulation of the upper and lower castings is desired, an articulator or a device which may be secured to an external articulator is positioned in each portion of the mold in the casting material prior to setting. After the casting material hardens, the mold is removed, and the articulator is rotated to release the impressions, thus leaving a precisely registered, articulated casting of the patient's teeth.
