In accordance with the present invention, an improved audio equipment is employed. The audio equipment includes a housing, audio circuitry installed within the housing, and a first protective bar flexibly connected to the housing. The audio equipment may also include a handle attached to the first protective bar, a second protective bar flexibly connected to the housing, and/or a connector assembly flexibly connecting the first protective bar to the housing. The connector assembly may include a flexible gasket preferably disposed between the first protective bar and the housing. Also disclosed herein is a method for manufacturing an audio equipment.

Heavy-duty audio equipment

A recharger system for charging a stand alone battery and a flashlight battery has a housing to receive a flashlight as well as a stand alone battery. The charger and flashlight include circuitry which enable the stand alone battery as well as the flashlight battery to be charged at the same time. When the stand alone battery or flashlight battery or both are charging, indicator LEDS are illuminated. If the power is lost or an outage occurs, an additional indicator LED is illuminated, which is powered from the stand alone battery, and ,if the flashlight is in the housing, the bulb of the flashlight is also illuminated, being powered through the flashlight battery.

A power tool has a manual spindle lock which includes a first locking member to couple with a gear of the power tool drive train. The locking member includes a first cam member. A second cam member is coupled with the first cam member. The second cam member is movable between first and second positions. In the first position, the locking member is disengaged from the gear and in the second position the locking member engages with the gear to prohibit driving of the output spindle of the power tool.

Flashlight

The present invention is directed to an on/off switch for a flashlight having a reflector secured against axial motion. The reflector has a central opening. The flashlight includes a bulb with a base having an outer cylindrical electrical terminal. The bulb extends through the central opening of the reflector. The switch includes a bulb holder, with the bulb secured in and moving with the bulb holder. The switch also includes an electrical contact disposed in the flashlight so as to be adjacent and biased away from the cylindrical electrical terminal of the bulb. The switch also includes a ring rotatably disposed in the flashlight. The ring is mechanically linked to the bulb holder and includes an element disposed adjacent the electrical contact. Rotation of the ring causes the bulb holder and thus the bulb to move axially relative to the reflector due to the mechanical link and simultaneously causes the element to force the electrical contact against the bias and into contact with the cylindrical electrical terminal of the bulb.
