Embodiments include an apparatus for fabricating a three-dimensional (3D) object from a digital representation of the 3D object stored in a computer readable media. The apparatus includes a build platform on which the 3D object is to be fabricated and a nozzle configured to deposit printing material on the build platform to fabricate the 3D object. The apparatus further includes a first drive mechanism configured to drive the nozzle over the build platform and a second drive mechanism configured to rotate the build platform.

The present disclosure describes a serial control channel processor. In some aspects, a time-based instruction corresponding to a command is executed and a signaling event based on the time-based instruction is generated at a communication port. In other aspects a signal containing data is received at a communication port and a time-based instruction is executed to read data of the received signal.

In an embodiment, a printed circuit board includes a number of bond pads formed on a surface of the printed circuit board. At least a portion of the number of bond pads is arranged in an array of bond pads that includes a number of rows and a number of columns. A first portion of the number of rows include a number of adjacent rows having a first pitch and a second portion of the number of rows include at least one pair of adjacent rows having a second pitch different from the first pitch. In an embodiment, the second pitch is greater than 0.5 mm and less than 1.5 mm. In some embodiments, the array of bond pads can include at least one row of no-connect bond pads.

Methods, apparatuses, and systems that facilitate common feed path printing devices to discern between original media and blank media are described herein. The novel systems may include, among other things, a print and a scan mechanism having a common input path to receive a first and a second media, the first media being original media to be scanned by the scan mechanism, and the second media being blank media to be printed on by the print mechanism. The system may further include a divider and a first sensor. The divider being configured to provide to the common feed path the first and the second media by defining a first and a second input slot to locate the first and the second media, respectively, wherein the divider to provide the first and the second media to the common feed path via the first and second input slots. The first sensor may detect absence of the first media in the first input slot.

The present disclosure describes apparatuses and techniques for programmatic sensing of capacitive sensors. In some aspects, a first set of instructions are executed that drive an output to a predetermined state for a duration of time effective to charge a capacitive sense element, a second set of instructions are executed that monitor a voltage level of the capacitive sense element, the second set of instructions executed for a number of iterations until the voltage level of the capacitive sense element crosses a predefined threshold, and user interaction with the capacitive sense element is determined based on the number of iterations that the second set of instructions execute.

This disclosure describes techniques and apparatuses for low-memory-usage arbitrary waveform representation or generation. These techniques and/or apparatuses enable representation and/or generation of arbitrary waveforms using less memory than many current techniques, thereby reducing costs or memory size. A multi-function printer having a compact size and portable configuration while providing printing, scanning and copying functionalities is disclosed herein. The multi-function printer includes a printer assembly and a scanner assembly configured to cooperatively utilize the same pick and paper movement systems along a common feed or paper path to perform these printing, scanning and copying functions. Thus, the disclosed multi-function printer may require a less complex paper movement and control system which, in turn, reduces the printer's overall weight while increasing its flexibility and/or portability.

A multifunction printer having a compact size and portable configuration while providing printing, scanning and copying functionalities is disclosed. The multi-function printer may include a paper handling assembly and a floating scanner assembly pivotably coupled to the paper handling assembly. The multi-function printer may further include a printer assembly coupled to the paper handling assembly. The floating scanner assembly is coupled to and aligned with a pick roller portion of the paper handling assembly and configured to scan and/or otherwise operate on a media supported within a document feeder. Thus, the multi-function printer may provide a wide variety of functionalities while maintaining a desirable compact configuration and portability.

A mechanism of one embodiment of the invention is disclosed that disconnects an electronic device from a power source includes a user-actuable switch, an electronically controllable switch, and a feedback mechanism. The electronically controllable switch couples the power source to the electronic device. The feedback mechanism turns on and off the electronically controllable switch in response to actuation of the user-actuable switch.
