The invention disclosed herein provides a safety device for inhibiting child access to a storage space. The safety device has a length of flexible material with a first end. The device also has a material retainer for storing the flexible material and allowing the flexible material to be retractably withdrawn from the material retainer. A first connecting member is attachable to the material retainer and a second connecting member is attachable to the first end of the flexible material. The first and second connecting members are positioned in the doorway of the storage space such that opening the door of the storage space withdraws the flexible material from the material retainer and extends the flexible material across the doorway. When a small child opens a storage space door on which the invention has been installed, the length of flexible material is drawn across the doorway of the storage space. The child's view of the interior of the storage space is blocked and the child's pressing against the flexible material results in the door tending to close, thereby further discouraging the child's access to the storage space.

Safety device for inhibiting child access to a cabinet

A cell unit is provided for use in a multi-cell container. The cell unit includes a plurality of walls, each wall having opposed inner and outer planar surfaces. The walls are arranged to form a cell having a predetermined volume defined by the inner planar surfaces of the walls. Each wall includes at least an upper and a lower flap. The upper and lower flap of each wall is adhesively secured to the outer planar surface thereof.

A shipping container is disclosed which allows the user to ship two levels of product in the container. The first level is available when the container is folded to a first compact use size while the second level is available when the container is folded to a second expanded use size.

One-piece double depth shipping container

A bulk material container is disclosed which includes an exterior body and an interior body having separation means associated with the exterior and interior bodies to provide protection from punctures and to provide for expansion of the products packaged within the interior body. The interior body comprises a first inner liner and a second outer liner laminated together in a predetermined manner to provide a stress reduction means in the interior body. The stress reduction means is formed by offsetting the inner and outer liner manufacturing joints from each other a predetermined distance to provide a triple thickness at the two manufacturing joints along a portion of one of the upstanding walls of the interior body. A topcap with water proofed corners and a retention area for a banding strap may be used with the container and when used the topcap also has means for being interlocked to the exterior body of the bulk material container.

A paperboard tray is disclosed that includes pairs of tuck flaps formed between the side and end panels of the tray. The tuck flaps are folded under the ends of the tray and are rigidly locked in position to give the tray great rigidity and leakproof corners. Tuck flap tabs on the tuck flaps are retained in tab holes in an end flap portion of the tray, and the end flap portion folds over and around the folded tuck flaps to doubly secure them in position.

An improved shipping container having novel locking features in the end panel and corner flaps. The novel locking features improved bulge resistance at the end panels from sideward bulge of the product. The improved container comprises a pair of corner flaps being hinged from the side panels and folded inwardly against an end panel with the two corner flaps and end panel on each side of the container having a quadruple lock. The lock is formed by providing a locking tab on each corner flap as well as a pair of locking tabs on the end panel with the end panel and corner flaps locking tabs being designed to be swung and locked in the opening formed by the aligned mating locking tab.

A bulk container has a hinged top with narrow side panels and a front locking panel assembly including an outside panel and an inside panel wherein a horizontal locking edge is formed on the inside panel for being engaged by a tab or the like folded downward from the front top edge of the container. An opening extends through both the inside and outside panels of the top in alignment with the tab for disengaging the tab from the locking edge.

A bulk container for bottom unloading having a novel deformable bottom feature. The novel bottom feature comprises a plurality of scorelines being formed on the central portion of the bottom with the scorelines serving to weaken the bottom portion so that it deforms into a generally funnel shape from the weight of the product positioned within the container. The product is then removed from the container through an opening in the deformed bottom with the flow from the container being controlled by a slide plate if flow control is desired by the user of the container.

An improved combination shipping and storage container which comprises an inner container having at least one product receiving cell which is positioned within a removable outer shell which has an open top and an open bottom. The outer shell is removable from the inner container by means of a plurality of notches formed in opposite sides of the upper portion of the inner container which permits the outer shell to be lifted upwardly and removed from the inner container so that the outer shell can be reshipped to the original user and reused with a new inner container. After the outer shell is removed from the inner container, the inner container structure may be used to contain the products for storage purposes at a warehouse location. Also disclosed is a new and novel method for packaging a product utilizing the new and novel container here and before described.
