A turf aerator has a chassis and a motor mounted on the chassis between a front end and a rear end of the chassis and between a first side and a second side of the chassis. A first shaft is rotatably driven by the motor, a first inner tine assembly mounted to a first portion of the first shaft, a second inner tine assembly mounted on the first shaft, and a first outer tine assembly mounted to a second portion of the first shaft. A tine cover is removably secured to the chassis over at least one of the first inner tine assembly and the first outer tine assembly.

Tines () of tine assemblies () are secured by a single bolt () extending diametrically through each tine () located in a cavity () of a tine plate (), through the tine plate () and through an attachment ring (). The attachment ring () of an outer tine assembly () is connected to a sleeve () rotatably mounted adjacent the outer ends on each of two independently rotatable shafts () to which inner tine assemblies () are rotatably connected adjacent the inner ends of the two independently rotatable shafts (). A tine cover () removably closes an opening () in the top plate () and in which weights () are removably received over the tine assemblies (). Transport wheels () are moveable by pivoting a stop plate () to position an upper pivot axis () of an abutment bar () ahead of or behind the stop axis () and lower pivot axis (). A stop () positioned on the stop plate () without the use of tools adjusts the depth of the tine assemblies ().

A relief grinding device (100) is disclosed including a flange assembly (106) slideably mounted on and rotatable with a grinding shaft (18) which is mounted on the free ends of pivot arms (14) pivotally mounted to a table (12). A grinding wheel (108) is mounted to and rotatable with the flange assembly (106). A back relief housing (114) is rotatably mounted to the flange assembly (106) and held at an adjustable angle on the grinding shaft (18) by a back relief restraint (124) adjustably secured thereto and slideable on a support shaft (102). A stop (134) for abutting with the first face of the blade is mounted to a holder (128) slideably mounted to a mount (122) of the back relief housing (114). A guide finger (138) for abutting with the opposite face of the blade is slideably mounted to the holder (128) and a holding block (136) secured to the stop (134). The blade freely passes between the stop (134) and the guide finger (138) which maintain the position and orientation of the blade relative to the grinding wheel (108) grinding a relief grind on the radially outer edge of the blade.

The combination bookmark and writing instrument holder includes a generally planar marking strip and an integrally molded retaining clip at one end of the marking strip. In the preferred embodiment, the retaining clip includes a pair of generally symmetrical, outwardly jaws that together present a writing instrument retaining channel. The channel includes a writing instrument retaining portion, and an outwardly flared mouth portion for guiding the writing instrument into the retaining portion.
