A kit and process are provided for working metals, said kit comprising a metal nitride and/or metal carbonitride coated metal working tool and a water soluble metal working fluid, said fluid including a relatively large alkoxylated amine, an alkanol amine and an acid-derived compound selected from the group consisting of organic acids, inorganic acids, and salts thereof, and said process comprising contacting a metal workpiece with said metal working tool and said fluid to effectuate working of said metal.

Process and kit for working metals

A pad-type friction material containing an inorganic fibrous material, a binder, zinc oxide and molybdenum sulfide. It contains no asbestos. The preferred fibrous material is wollastonite or a mixture of wollastonite and glass.

Asbestos-free friction materials

An asbestos-free friction material characterized by good friction and wear properties. It comprises the combination of a binder resin, copper oxide, antimony sulfide and an aromatic polyamide resin. Barytes is also a valuable additive in the combination.

A non-aqueous lubricant which is adapted for use with food-handling machinery. It comprises white mineral oil as the principal constituent and a minor proportion of a fatty amide.
