The invention is concerned with a bushing for high voltage applications and a bushing arrangement including such a bushing. The bushing includes a conductor defining a longitudinal axis (A) through the bushing where the bushing has a central section and a first and a second peripheral section on opposite sides of the central section along the longitudinal axis (A) and includes an optical fibre with a first part (P) stretching through the central section, the fibre being adapted to detect physical properties being influenced or caused by the operation of the bushing. The sections are sections of a solid condenser core and the bushing further includes an enclosure for a length of fibre that is to exit the bushing, the enclosure being buried in the central section adjacent the surface of the condenser core and having an interior volume.

A method for producing an electrical power device having an insulator. The method includes, by means of additive manufacturing, applying a polymeric insulating material forming part of the device. The method also includes, in a subsequent consolidation step, subjecting the insulator to elevated temperature and pressure during a predetermined time period to consolidate the insulator.

Producing power bushing condenser core by additive manufacturing

A high voltage capacitive device having: a non-impregnatable film having a plurality of physically separated regions each defined by a conductive coating provided on the non-impregnatable film, wherein the non-impregnatable film is wound in a plurality of turns to form a plurality of layers, wherein the regions are arranged in overlapping layers in the radial direction, wherein the non-impregnatable film forms a dielectric between adjacent layers of the regions, and wherein the conductive coating of at least some of the regions is provided with a plurality of first radial openings extending through the conductive coating to the non-impregnatable film, which delimits a radial extension of each first radial opening.

High voltage capacitive device

A method of manufacturing a capacitive electrical device is disclosed. The method includes a) bonding a first electrical insulation film with a second electrical insulation film to obtain a single electrical insulation film that has a larger surface area than any of the first electrical insulation film and the second electrical insulation film has alone, b) providing a conductive layer onto the single electrical insulation film, and c) winding the single electrical insulation film and the conductive layer around a shaft to obtain a layer of the single electrical insulation film and a layer of the conductive layer wound onto the shaft, thereby forming the capacitive electrical device.

Method of manufacturing a capacitive electrical device

An electrical bushing including an electrically insulating shell having a central longitudinal through hole and a first longitudinal end configured to be at a top of the bushing and a second longitudinal end configured to be at a bottom of the bushing. The bushing is configured for accommodating an electrical conductor positioned through the central longitudinal through hole of the shell. The shell includes fastening means for fastening the bushing to a wall of an electrical apparatus, through which wall the bushing is configured for allowing the electrical conductor to pass. The shell is configured for sealingly containing an electrically insulating liquid in the bushing, allowing the bushing to be liquid-filled. The shell is molded as a single piece from an electrically insulating polymeric material.

Electrical bushing

The method relates to an electric device comprising at least two electrodes which are separated by dielectric part. At least one of said electrodes is arranged to be at a floating potential. The dielectric part comprises at least one turn of at least one non-impregnatable electrically insulating film between two neighboring electrodes. The electrodes are bonded to adjacent turns of non-impregnatable insulating film, and adjacent turns of non-impregnatable insulating film, if any, are bonded to each other, so that the turns of non-impregnatable insulating film and the electrodes form a solid body. The invention further relates to a method of manufacturing an electric device, where bonding of at least one turn is performed upon forming of said turn, so that the bonding of said turn to the turn/electrode underneath will commence before said turn has been completely covered by the next turn.

High voltage device and a method of manufacturing a high voltage device

A high-voltage bushing has a conductor and a core surrounding the conductor, wherein the core comprises a sheet-like spacer, which spacer is impregnated with an electrically insulating matrix material. The spacer is wound in spiral form around an axis, the axis being defined through the shape of the conductor. Thus, a multitude of neighboring layers is formed. The core further comprises equalization elements in appropriate radial distances to the axis. The equalization elements comprise electrically conductive layers, which layers have openings, through which openings the matrix material can penetrate, and in that the equalization elements are applied to the core separately from the spacer. The electrically conductive layers can be net-shaped, grid-shaped, meshed or perforated. The openings are fillable with the matrix material, e.g., a particle-filled resin can be used.

High-voltage bushing

An elongated member including an outer sleeve-like rigid insulator shell surrounding a high voltage conductor extending in the longitudinal direction of the shell and a gap inside the shell next to an internal wall of the shell at least partially surrounding the conductor and filled with a medium including a material of with electrically insulating properties. The medium is formed by an electrically insulating material including hollow spaces at least partially filled with gas. The material is adapted to expand upon a temperature rise thereof by reversibly compressing the hollow spaces and reducing the volume thereof.

Elongated member and use thereof

A bushing is disclosed with a duct for accommodating a conductor which is surrounded by an electrical field grading insulation. The bushing includes a core with a shell encapsulating the grading insulation and a flange surrounding the shell and carrying through holes distributed over its circumference for allowing the bushing to be attached to a wall. The shell and the flange can be in one piece and include an insulating matrix material. The through holes can be surrounded by metal inserts each forming an annular surface flush with a surface of the flange. A test tap can include a contact pin which is electrically conductively connected to an outermost layer of the grading insulation and surrounded by a contact ring connected to every second metal insert by connection wires for grounding the contact pin via the contact ring when the test tap is not in use and covered. The core can be produced by filling a mold with the liquid matrix material after components of the grading insulation and other parts have been fixed in the liquid matrix material.

Bushing and a method for producing the same

An exemplary high-voltage bushing has a conductor and a core surrounding the conductor, wherein the core includes a sheet-like spacer, which spacer is impregnated with an electrically insulating matrix material. The spacer can have a multitude of holes that are fillable with the matrix material. The spacer can be net-shaped or meshed. It can be a net of fibers. The bushing can be a fine-graded bushing with equalizing plates within the core. As a matrix material, a particle-filled resin can be used.
