Food compositions and methods are provided for non-fat and low-fat food compositions containing a polyvinylpyrrolidone. The food compositions contain polyvinylpyrrolidone and other ingredients such as food stabilizers. Preferred compositions are non-fried foods, which include diary products, baked goods, salad dressings, and meat products. Specific food compositions include ice cream, muffins and pourable salads.

A molded plant container having at least one slit along the vertical wall of the container, a separable liquid-tight fastener along the slit edges and a living hinge in a wall of the container permitting the side wall to be separated from a contained root ball. The bottom wall of the container may be provided with readily removable circular areas so as to adapt the container for use in air layering propagation of plants.

Process for preparing a granulated, stabilized alkali metal dichloroisocyanurate by mixing 10-70% of an alkali metal dichloroisocyanurate with 25-75% of cyanuric acid or alkali metal salt thereof, and 5-50% of an inorganic salt, having a pH in water of at least 9, wherein the ingredients are a homogeneous powder and are compacted under pressure, and the compacts crushed to provide a -10 +70 mesh product fraction.
