A lighting tube for uniform illumination is disclosed. The lighting tube includes a conduit having an inner layer, outer layer, and a middle layer between the inner and outer layers. The middle layer has at least two of a phosphor film, a diffusion film, and a UV-blocking film. The lighting tube also includes a light emitting chain located inside of the conduit. The light emitting chain includes control wires and a plurality of light emitting units spaced along the control wires. Each unit has a plurality of faces interconnected to form a polygon when viewed along a central axis, with each face being on a different side of the polygon. Each face has an LED coupled to the control wires. The LED emits light with a wavelength that causes the phosphor film to luminesce. The illumination of the middle layer by the chain is substantially uniform in all radial directions.

Lighting tube system for uniform signage illumination

A lighting system. Implementations may include an AC input power source coupled with a power conditioning and control module adapted output a low voltage high frequency pulse width modulated (PWM) signal. A remote transmission cable may be adapted to carry the low voltage high frequency PWM signal to a remote transformer adapted to convert the low voltage high frequency PWM signal to a high voltage high frequency PWM signal. A charge pump may be included which is adapted to receive the high voltage high frequency PWM signal and increase a voltage of the signal. A gas discharge tube may be coupled to the charge pump. A controller may be coupled to the power conditioning and control module and adapted to operate the gas discharge tube at two or more light intensity levels with the low voltage high frequency PWM signal.

Lighting systems and related methods

A control interface for a visual presentation system. Implementations include a graphical interface including a plurality of parallel lines and plurality of spaces between and adjacent to the plurality of lines that define at least one visual staff. One or more visual notes may be disposed on the at least one visual staff. An output data stream may be included that includes a control sequence of one or more visual element parameters adapted to operate a visual presentation system and corresponding with the one or more visual notes. The output data stream may be coupled with a visual presentation system. One or more music notes on one or more music staffs may be included on the graphical interface adjacent to the at least one visual staff where the one or more music notes are correlated with the one or more visual notes on the at least one visual staff.

Visual presentation system and related methods

A lighting tube fitting apparatus, method and system that allows movement of a lighting tube about two axes while preventing rotation about the longitudinal axis of the lighting tube it. A lighting tube within one of the disclosed fittings provides greater ability to align the electrode ends of a lighting tube with electrode holders. This reduces the need for the tight tolerances that are typically required in the art of conventional tube lighting. The movement of the lighting tube is enabled in the disclosed implementation using one or more pressure arcs within a clamp body make contact with a clamp ring that holds a lighting tube in place and prevents its rotation about its own axis. The lighting tube fittings provide the additional benefit of supporting the entire weight and position of the lighting tube, eliminating the need for any additional lighting tube supports along the length of the lighting tube.

A lighting device is provided which comprises an optically non-opaque wall consisting essentially of a polymeric material and defining a portion of an envelope; a light source sealed within the envelope at a pressure of less than one atmosphere absolute; and an electrical driving device in electrical communication with the light source for causing the light source to generate light. According to another aspect of the invention, a lighting device is provided which comprises an optically non-opaque wall consisting essentially of a polymeric material and defining a portion of an envelope; a gas disposed and sealed within the envelope at a pressure of less than one atmosphere absolute, the wall being substantially impermeable by the gas; and an electrical driving device in at least one of electrical and electromagnetic communication with the gas for activating the gas to generate light. Related methods also are disclosed. In the various devices and methods, the polymeric wall material comprises a polycarbonate material, and may consist of or consist essentially of a polycarbonate material. Electrode housings and connectors also are disclosed.

Lighting device, components therefor and method of manufacture

A lighting display of relatively thin proportions producing a visual image of substantial depth by creating multiple reflections of light sources and objects within a narrow space. The space is defined by a vertical, rear mirror plate and a front one-way mirror which appears substantially transparent from a viewer area. Images from the light sources in the spaces are repeatedly reflected back-and-forth between the front and rear mirrors.
