A transmission system for a vehicle, in particular a front wheel driven vehicle, having an input arranged for connection to a drive source, and an output arranged for connection to a load. The transmission system comprises a transmission which in turn comprises an output shaft connected to the output, a first input shaft and a first speed transforming gear coupling the first input shaft to the output shaft, and a second input shaft and a second speed transforming gear coupling the second input shaft to the output shaft.

Transmission system for a vehicle

A transmission system, such as for a two wheeled bicycle, including an axle assembly including a set of sprockets, a transmission unit having an input coupled to the set of sprockets and an output arranged to be coupled to a wheel. The transmission unit includes a transmission operable according to a first transmission ratio and a second transmission ratio, a clutch or brake system for switching from the first to the second transmission ratio under load, and a first actuator for controlling the clutch or brake for coupling or decoupling. The transmission system including a second actuator for selecting one of the sprockets for transmission of torque to the axle assembly, and a controller configured to receive a first shift signal and/or a second shift signal, and configured to control the first actuator and/or the second actuator in response to the first or second shift signal.

Transmission system

The invention relates to a hydraulic system for a vehicle transmission, comprising: a hydraulic circuit arranged for generating a pressure, a hydraulic actuator arranged for engaging a park lock system, wherein the hydraulic actuator is hydraulically connected to the hydraulic circuit for actuation of the hydraulic actuator using the pressure, and a back-up system configured to keep the pressure above a predetermined pressure threshold for maintaining an actuation of the hydraulic actuator for a predetermined period of time in case of an operational interruption of a transmission control unit of the vehicle.

Hydraulic system for a vehicle transmission

A rear wheel axle for a bicycle includes a hollow wheel axle and an axle shaft inserted therethrough and torque support elements for supporting torque exerted on the wheel axle on drop outs of a bicycle frame. The torque support elements are formed by a first part of an outside of the axle shaft and a part of an inside of the wheel axle, which parts jointly form a first form locked connection, and are also formed by a second part of the outside of the axle shaft, which together with a bounding wall of a through hole provided in an inserted piece which is fixed in the direction of rotation relative to one of the drop outs, forms a second form locked connection. The first and second parts of the outside of the axle shaft are fixed relative to each other in the direction of rotation of the axle shaft.

A flywheel module comprises a bypass transmission with three rotational members, and a flywheel connected to a first one of the rotational members. A second one of the rotational members is connected to the input/output. An electric machine which can function both as a motor and as a generator is connected to a third one of the rotational members. An actuator is provided for actuating the electric machine. A control unit is provided for driving the actuator, as well as an operator for operating the brake and the clutch.

Flywheel module for a vehicle, as well as methods of operating the flywheel module

A transmission which is pre-eminently suitable for an electric and/or hybrid drive has an input which can be connected to an electromotor/generator, and an output which can be connected to a load. The transmission has two parallel transmission paths between the input and output, first coupling means being present in the first transmission path and second coupling means being present in the second transmission path. Furthermore, a gear reduction is present in at least either of the two transmission paths. The first coupling means are arranged such that they are not capable of dissipating significant power and the second coupling means are arranged such that they are capable indeed of dissipating significant power.

Transmission for an electric or hybrid drive

A transmission system has a clutch module which has a single input and two outputs, where clutch devices are located between the outputs and the input. The transmission system further includes a transmission module which has two inputs and a single output, the transmission module comprising at least two sub-transmissions where at least a single speed transforming gear or a single transmission clutch is located between an input and an output of each sub-transmission. The two outputs of the clutch module are connected here to both inputs of the transmission module.

Transmission module for a lorry

A device has an output which is formed by a gearwheel that can be coupled to a gearwheel on a crankshaft of a combustion engine. The device comprises a first auxiliary drive source arranged as an electromotor, which is coupled to the output via a node. A first branch of a drive line is present between the electromotor and the node and a second branch of the drive line is present between the node and the output. The device further includes a second auxiliary drive source arranged as a flywheel which is coupled to the output via the node. A third branch is then present between the flywheel and the node.

Device for starting a combustion engine

A drive mechanism has a transmission module which has a first input which is connected to an electromotor/generator, and a second input which is connected to a combustion engine. The transmission module has a planetary gear set having three rotational members of which a first rotational member is connected to the input, a second rotational member is connected to an output, and a third rotational member is connected to a brake. A clutch is positioned between the combustion engine and the third rotational member and a further clutch is positioned between the combustion engine and the first rotational member.

Transmission module for a hybrid drive

A transmission system has a clutch module with a single input and two outputs. First and second clutch devices are positioned between the input and the two outputs. A transmission module, having two inputs and a single output, includes two sub-transmissions where at least a single speed transforming gear or a single transmission clutch is located between an input and an output of each sub-transmission. The two outputs of the clutch module are connected here to the two inputs of the transmission module. Between the input and the first output of the clutch module is located a first planetary gear set, and between the input and the second output is located a second planetary gear set.

A transmission system has an input connected to a drive source, and an output connected to a load. The transmission system further has a transmission that includes two input shafts and an output shaft, as well as a clutch module comprising a clutch and a planetary gear set which comprises three rotational members of which a first rotational member is connected to the input, a second rotational member is coupled to the output and a third rotational member is connected to a brake. Between the input shafts and the output shaft are located three speed transforming gears and three gear clutches, and between the two input shafts is located a further clutch.

A combustion engine can be started by means of a starting device. During the starting operation attendant with the starting device driving the vehicle this drive is also effected by energizing a clutch which connects the combustion engine via a transmission to the wheels L of the vehicle. By utilizing the starting device for the starting operation also for meanwhile driving the vehicle and/or accelerating same, a faster and/or more gradual drive/acceleration of the vehicle is realized.

Starting method and starting device for starting a combustion engine and/or driving a vehicle

A flywheel module has a flywheel as well as a speed transforming device which has a first in/output which is connected to the flywheel, and a second in/output which is coupled to a drive line of a vehicle. The speed transforming device has a bypass speed transforming device and a motor and/or generator. Energy can then be exchanged with the flywheel by suitably controlling the motor and/or generator. As a result of the delivery of a negative torque by the motor and/or generator, the flywheel accelerates and because of the delivery of a positive torque by the motor and/or generator the flywheel decelerates.

A drive mechanism has a drive source which is connected by a main clutch to a transmission which is connected to wheels of the vehicle. The drive mechanism further includes two hybrid modules of which a first module is connected to the drive source and the second module is connected between the transmission and the wheels to the drive line. The first hybrid module has a flywheel and a flywheel clutch and the second hybrid module has a motor/generator and a further clutch.
