The covering (20) for a seat, made from an outer envelope (21) and an inner padding (22) shaped into a central pad (221) bordered by two side wings (222), where the pad (221) and wings (222) are arranged so as to form a pan (200), the concavity of which is intended to receive an occupant, where the padding (22) takes the form of a unit (30) consisting of comprising two elements (31, 32) separated by a joining surface (300), and where that one (31) of these elements (31, 32) which is closes to the pan (200) is made from a material which has a softer consistency than that of the material of the other one (32) of these elements (31, 32), so that when the pan (200) of the padding receives an occupant, the force exerted on the covering (20) straight the pad (221) causes the wings (222) automatically to be brought closer to each other by pivoting about a hinge zone (3020), and vice versa.

A self-locking strap guide (S) has a base (10) with a flange (11) for mounting on the structure or shell (C) and with a support (12) against which the strap (S) can be pressed, a lock (20) with a shoe (21) articulated via an axle (30) on the base (10) in such a way that the strap (S) can pass between the support (12) and shoe (21), and in such a way that this shoe (21) can press the strap (S) against this support (12), and elastic stressing means (40) tending normally to move this shoe (21) and this support (12) apart.

Self-locking strap guide for a seat belt

This sitting unit comprises a central part (5) articulated on the front edge of the sitting unit and thus raisable forwards, a receptacle (7) designed to receive this central part (5) when it is turned down into the sitting unit, and a device (8, 8a, 12) for locking and retaining in the raised position the central part, to the rear face of which a child's seat can be attached. This arrangement increases the safety of the child in the event of a front collision of the vehicle because the child's seat faces rearwards, instead of facing forwards, so that, in the event of a collision, the child is already steadied in the seat and does not suffer the injuries caused by the belts which are conventionally used.
