An electric cleaning apparatus () having a suction body (), which is provided at one end with a suction aperture () connected to a suction drive member arranged inside the suction body (), and to which a terminal suction element () is able to be selectively associated. The electric cleaning apparatus () includes tubular members () pivoted on the suction body () and able to be selectively rotated with respect to the latter in order to define a first operating configuration, wherein the tubular members () are arranged on the opposite side with respect to the suction aperture () in order to function as a remote handgrip for the suction body (), and a second operating configuration, wherein the tubular members () cooperate with the suction aperture () in order to function as an extension for the terminal suction element ().
