A bone screw comprising a shaft having a wall, the wall including a minor diameter and at least one thread having an external thread form. The thread form including a first portion comprising a crest of the thread form and a second portion extends between a minor diameter of the thread form and the first portion. Spinal implant system and methods of use

Medical devices, such as implants, having a high-modulus alloy. The alloy includes a biocompatible refractory-metal-based alloy having multiple refractory metals. The alloy has an elastic modulus above about 300 GPa. The alloy comprises 30-35% tungsten, 60% molybdenum, and 5-10% niobium. The alloy is absent of rhenium.

A system of generating a pre-operative assessment of a patient includes an assessment system configured to communicate with client electronic devices. Pre-operative assessment and inventory management system

The present disclosure provides for a bone screw that may include a first portion extending from a first end to a second end in a longitudinal direction, for example. The first portion may have a head that defines the first end and a shank that defines the second end. Additionally, the first portion may include a metallic material and/or be formed of a metallic material, for example Titanium. The second portion may be mechanically coupled to the first portion and surround the shank, for example the second portion is screwed to the first portion or the second portion may be directly formed to the first portion by an overmold process. The second portion may have an exposed thread pattern and an exposed leading tip. Additionally, the second portion may include a thermoplastic material and/or be formed of a thermoplastic material such as PEEK.

A method for treating a spine comprising the steps of: connecting at least one first fastener that defines an implant cavity with at least one vertebral level of a first portion of vertebrae; connecting at least one second fastener with at least one vertebral level of a second portion of the vertebrae; manipulating the vertebrae; manipulating a spinal rod to a selected configuration; connecting the spinal rod with the at least one first fastener such that the spinal rod is disposed at a selected position with the implant cavity; connecting a tether to a second fastener and the spinal rod; and reducing the spinal rod to a selected position relative to the second fastener with the tether. Spinal implant system and method

A method for treating a spinal disorder includes the steps of: disposing an expandable spinal construct in a selected configuration; fixing the spinal construct in the selected configuration with a member; attaching a first end of the spinal construct with tissue; attaching a second end of the spinal construct with tissue; and disengaging the member from the spinal construct to release the spinal construct from the selected configuration. Spinal correction construct and method

A build plate includes a surface that defines at least one opening configured for disposal of a proximal portion of a screw shaft.
