The intention relates to a closure () for sealing of a neck finish () of a liquid container comprising a top deck () and an outer skirt () extending from the top deck () in an axial direction (z) away from the top deck () comprising at least one locking means () for engaging the closure () to the neck finish () of the liquid container. A with respect to the top deck () deformable primary sealing lip () is arranged on an inner surface () of the top deck () and extends in a circumferential manner along the inner surface () of the top deck (). The primary sealing lip () comprises with respect to its cross-section a dorsal end () connected to the inner surface () of the top deck () and a free distal end () arranged opposite to the dorsal end (), wherein the primary sealing lip () with respect to its cross section is arranged in an inclined manner facing inwardly. Furthermore, at least one supporting element () protrudes from the inner surface () of the top deck (), said supporting element () being arranged coaxially to and at least partially in side of the primary sealing lip (). The at least one supporting element () is configured to support the primary sealing lip () with respect to the neck finish () in an applied position of the closure ().

Closure

A closure () for a fluid container includes a top deck (), a skirt () extending from the top deck () in an axial direction (&#x2212;z), wherein the skirt () comprises a screw thread (), slits () in the skirt (), an elongated stabilizing section () and retaining means on the inside of the skirt () for engagement of a collar (B) of the neck finish () of the fluid container (). The closure includes torque engagement means () arranged on the outside of the top deck () for interacting with a torqueing member during fitting of the closure ().

Fluid container closure

The present disclosure relates to a closure, especially a closure for packages for liquids such as beverages. In particular the invention relates to a closure for containers for carbonated liquids such as soft drinks. The closure comprises an outer shell with a reduced weight and a sealing means which actively compensates the deformation of the outer shell to avoid loss of performance.

The invention is directed to a closure () having a base () with a top deck () and a therewith adjacent skirt () extending in an axial direction (z) comprising an internal thread (). The closure () is comprising a sealing arrangement () with an inner seal () extending in the axial direction (z) from the top deck (). The inner seal () is having an inner annular sealing surface () arranged radially inward with respect to an outer seal () and pointing in an outward direction. The sealing arrangement further comprises an outer seal (), which in its cross-section comprises a base section () extending in the axial direction (z) from the top deck () and an end section (), which is bend inwardly with respect to the course of the base section () in the direction of the inner seal () and which terminates in a sealing surface () pointing in an inward direction.

Closure for container neck finishes

A closure () attachable to a container having an opening. The closure () comprising a top portion () and a skirt portion () depending from the top portion (). A tamper evident band () is joined to the skirt portion () by one or more frangible connectors (). The band () comprises a first portion () extending generally away from the skirt portion () and a second portion () hingedly connected to the first portion () and movable between a first moldable orientation and at least a second operable orientation. Hinged closure for a container neck

The present invention is directed to a sealing means for sealing of a neck of a container, especially a container for carbonated beverages. The sealing means comprises a radially deformable outer sealing means suitable to be engaged with an outer free surface of a neck of the container. The outer sealing means comprises an annular base which blends by a blend into a vertical top surface and at least one annular sealing ring arranged at a free end of the annular base, protruding radially inwardly above the inner surface of the base and forming in engaged position with the neck a first contact area with the outer free surface.

The invention concerns a closure for sealing of an orifice of a neck of a container. The closure comprises a top portion, an outer skirt and a sealing means. The sealing means comprises an outer sealing means suitable to be engaged with an outer free peripheral surface of neck. The outer sealing means comprises an annular base radially distanced to said outer skirt and at least one annular sealing ring protruding radially inwardly over said base.
