A method and system for managing and sourcing materials and services for electrification projects. An electrification project portal provides real-time designing, specifying, searching, pricing, quoting, ordering, and tracking of energy audit project materials and services required for a desired electrification project. An electrification project includes replacing fossil-fuel powered devices with devices powered by electricity generated from stored power devices and other electricity sources. The functionality of the electrification project portal is available in real-time directly and from within existing design programs that create and provide electrification projects and available as a standalone portal.

An energy audit or energy retrofit is conducted in plural parts by plural different auditors on plural different energy audit applications on plural different network devices for energy consuming components (e.g., lighting, heating, ventilation, air condition, etc.) and energy producing components (e.g., solar, wind, water, etc.). The plural audit parts are automatically synchronized to a server network device allowing energy audits or energy retrofits to be completed at different dates and times by different auditors.

A method and system for providing energy audits including installation, verification and inspection of energy consuming components and energy producing components. An energy audit is conducted offline on an energy audit application on a network device for energy consuming components (e.g., lighting, heating, ventilation, air condition, etc.) and energy producing components (e.g., solar, wind, water, etc.) and automatically synchronized to a server network device when the network device is able to connect to a communications network and go on-line. Energy audit templates are provided to ensure all energy consuming components and energy producing components are fully defined and consistently identified on an electronic floorplan for a commercial or industrial building.
