A transparent multilayer comprises a deformable first conductive layer containing an intrinsically conductive polymer, a film forming binder, and spacer elements embedded in and projecting from the surface of the first conductive layer, and a second conductive layer separated from the first conductive layer by the spacer elements. The multilayer is useful as a component in a touch screen display.
