The invention is directed to a module injection mechanism and a method of using the same for mounting a module to a chassis, the module injection mechanism comprising an injection assembly secured to the module, comprising a lever, a screw affixed to the chassis, a sliding bushing, disposed between the module and the screw, wherein the screw is fixed to the chassis via the sliding bushing, the lever comprising a lever grabbing portion and a lower lever portion capable of connecting to the sliding bushing, wherein the injection assembly is secured to the module so that the injection assembly is capable to transfer a mechanical force applied to the lever grabbing portion to the sliding bushing so that the module is mounted to the chassis.

Injection mechanism for modules, and method of using the same

A cab fairing is provided according to the present invention. The cab fairing includes a left rail, a right rail, a cross bar, a left side sail, and a right side sail. The left rail is provided for attachment to a left pickup truck bed sidewall, and the left rail includes a first slot for attachment to a left pickup truck sidewall and a second slot. The right rail is provided for attachment to a right pickup truck bed sidewall, and the right rail includes a first slot for attachment to a right pickup truck sidewall and a second slot. The cross bar has a left end and a right end, and is constructed for extension across at least a portion of a pickup truck cab. The left side sail has a first end and a second end. The left side sail first end is constructed for attachment to the second slot of the left rail, and the left side sail second end is constructed for attachment to the left end of the cross bar. The right side sail has a first end and a second end. The right side sail first end is constructed for attachment to the second slot of the right rail, and the right side sail second end is constructed for attachment to the right end of the cross bar. A pickup truck that includes the cab fairing is disclosed.

A pickup truck bed frame is described that includes a frame member, a left support structure, and a right support structure. The frame member includes a frame member left end constructed for attachment to a pickup truck bed left sidewall, a frame member right end constructed for attachment to a pickup truck bed right sidewall, and a central member constructed to extend across a pickup truck cab from the frame member left end to the frame member right end. The left support structure includes a left support arm having a left support arm first end constructed for attachment to the frame member, and a left support arm second end constructed for attachment to a pickup truck left sidewall. The right support structure includes a right support arm having a right support arm first end constructed for attachment to the frame member, and a right support arm second end constructed for attachment to a pickup truck bed right sidewall. The left support structure can include a left bed rail having a left bed rail first end constructed for attachment to the left support arm, and a left bed rail second end constructed for attachment to a pickup truck bed left sidewall. The right support structure can include a right bed rail having a right bed rail first end constructed for attachment to the right support arm, and a right bed rail second end constructed for attachment to a pickup truck bed right sidewall. In general, the left bed rail and the right bed rail can extend along the left sidewall and the right sidewall of a pickup truck bed. The frame member and the left and right support structures, including the left and right bed rails, provide a surface for which to attach tie down materials for holding articles in place in a pickup truck bed during transportation. A pickup truck that includes the pickup truck bed frame is described.
