An ergonomically designed, auto-retracting utility knife that can safely remain in the user's hand while performing non cutting tasks. This invention allows a person to continue with the jobs they were performing by having the ability to use both hands and not having to set the utility knife down between manual tasks, thus saving time and increasing efficiency. An auto-retracting blade decreases the risk lacerations and other hand/wrist injuries to the user and others during routine use of the knife.

Devices and methods for displaying beauty and other visual products are disclosed. A display system can include a frame and a sample portion. Traits such as color and texture of a beauty product can be displayed on the sample portion, and the frame portion can interface with product shelving to align samples with relevant products in the display. The sample portion can be releasably attached to the frame to be removed by a user and be placed above a body part of the user to which a beauty product may be applied, or a body part can be placed in proximity to the sample portion even while it is attached to the frame. The user can advantageously view the beauty product as applied to the body part without applying the beauty product. The system is useful for fingernail polish display, for example.

A guide tool for use in laying concrete block to form a wall includes a body sized and configured to slidably attach removably to a door frame such as to secure one end of a mason's line at a desired elevation and with a selected offset relative to the door frame. As so secured by the guide tool, the mason's line provides a true positional reference for laying of concrete block both with respect to the intended line of the wall in plan view, and with respect to the desired horizontal line of courses of block which are to form the wall.

An apparatus and system for supporting tools at a given height on a door jamb. The apparatus for use as a tool platform for working on stilts. The apparatus comprising a vertical support member, a fastener device extending from the doorjamb, and a wall grip mechanism. The wall grip mechanism comprising a first projection and a second projection disposed apart from one another at a first given width, and each one of the first projection and the second projection extending in a first direction away from the vertical support member. The apparatus further comprising a tool platform having a front end and a back end in opposition to one another, the tool platform forming a horizontal surface.

Method and apparatus for supporting tools in a door jamb

The air filtration device for use with a roof drill has an air intake block attached to a vertical support abutting the mine roof lateral to the drill hole. A flexible hose attached to a dust filter and a vacuum source for filtering and collecting dust from the air before exhausting the air to the atmosphere is connected to the air intake block. The air intake block has a plurality of holes defined in at least one face of the block for the intake of dust laden air and an air passage within the block in communication with the vacuum source provided by the flexible hose. The holes defined in the air intake block may be covered by screens to prevent the entrance of large particles into the air intake block. The air intake block is disposed to provide sufficient suction lateral to the longitudinal axis of the drill steel in order to remove fine particles of quartz and dust from the air adjacent the entrance of the drill hole.
