Data regarding a movement being performed by a subject during an activity is obtained from wearable apparel, having one or more sensors, worn by the subject. Based at least in part on the data obtained by the wearable apparel, it is automatically detected that the movement has a potential of causing injury to the subject. Based on automatically detecting that the motion has the potential of causing injury to the subject, application of one or more physical stimuli is initiated to cause the subject to adjust the movement to prevent the injury.

Wearable technology employed in injury detection, prevention and skills training

Provided are systems, methods, and media for real-time alteration of underwater images. An example method includes receiving an image that is captured by a wearable electronic device of a user while submerged in water, in which the wearable electronic device of the user includes one or more display screens and one or more sensors, and in which the one or more sensors include one or more cameras that are configured to capture the image. The method includes adjusting the image based, at least in part, on one or more environmental factors of the water, in which the adjusting of the image includes adjusting colors of the image to compensate for changes in color while submerged in the water. The method includes causing the wearable electronic device to display the adjusted image to the user while submerged in water via the one or more display screens.

Real-time alteration of underwater images

A method includes capturing, by a camera, two-dimensional imagery. The method also includes determining, by a positioning sensor, a viewing perspective of a viewer of the two-dimensional imagery. The method also includes generating at least a first imagery based at least on the captured two-dimensional imagery and the determined viewing perspective. The method also includes displaying a three-dimensional representation of the two-dimensional imagery to the viewer. The displaying the three-dimensional representation includes displaying dual imagery, and the dual imagery includes the first imagery.

Generating three-dimensional imagery

According to one aspect of the present disclosure a system and technique for dynamic system level agreement provisioning includes: a computing environment configured with allocatable computing resources; and a host having a processor unit operable to execute a service level agreement (SLA) module. The SLA module is configured to: identify service level criteria for a customer of computing services of the computing environment; determine characteristics of the computing environment; identify a time period for providing the computing services; evaluate one or more utility functions defining service level variables; and automatically determine a service level agreement (SLA) provision for the customer based on the one or more utility functions.

Dynamic system level agreement provisioning

According to one aspect of the present disclosure a method and technique for dynamic system level agreement provisioning is disclosed. The method includes: identifying, by a data processing system of a computing environment service provider, service level criteria for a customer of computing services; determining characteristics of the computing environment; identifying a time period for providing the computing services; evaluating one or more utility functions defining service level variables; and automatically determining, by the data processing system, a service level agreement (SLA) provision for the customer based on the one or more utility functions.

Embodiments include method, systems and computer program products for z Integrated Information Processors (zIIP) processing performance analysis and process management. In some embodiments, at least a portion of an application may be executed using a general-purpose processor of a mainframe computing device, wherein the at least the portion of the application comprises a zIIP-enabled process. A first set of data associated with the general-purpose processor may be collected. At least a portion of the application may be executed using a zIIP of the mainframe computing device. A second set of data associated with the zIIP may be collected. An efficiency percentage may be calculated using the first set of data and the second set of data. A portion of the application may be authorized to execute on the zIIP based on the efficiency percentage.

Collection of the resource specific piece of data from the resource by the more than one data collection mechanism is suspended and the resource specific piece of data is collected without utilizing the more than one data collection mechanism.
