A diffuser case for a gas turbine engine including: a pre-diffuser; a diffuser case defining a dump region, an inner plenum, and an outer plenum, the pre-diffuser being fluidly connected to the inner plenum and the outer plenum through the dump region; a tangential onboard injector module fluidly connected to the inner plenum through inlet orifice located in the diffuser case proximate an aft end of the inner plenum; and an inlet extender initiating at the inlet orifice of the tangential onboard injector module, extends through the inner plenum, and terminates at a distal end proximate the pre-diffuser.

An assembly is provided for a gas turbine engine. This assembly includes a combustor wall, a case and an inlet. The combustor wall is configured with a quench aperture. The case is displaced from the combustor wall such that a plenum is formed by and extends between the combustor wall and the case. The case includes a case wall, a deflector and a conduit. The deflector projects out from the case wall into the plenum towards the combustor wall. The deflector is arranged upstream of the quench aperture. The inlet to the conduit is arranged next to and downstream of the deflector.

A component includes a component body. The component further includes a first passage disposed in the component body. The first passage includes a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The component further includes a second passage. The second passage extends from the second end of the first passage. The second passage includes a turn. The component further includes a third passage. The third passage extends from the second end of the first passage. The component further includes a first projection extending from a passage surface of the component body within the first passage. The first projection is disposed between the first and the second end of the first passage and is configured to direct debris transiting the first passage away from the second passage and into the third passage.

A gaspath component for a gas turbine engine includes a platform. A body extends outward from the platform and includes at least one internal cooling passage. The internal cooling passage includes at least one particulate redirection feature defined at an end of the body opposite the platform. The at least one particulate redirection feature includes a first face oblique to and facing an expected flow of fluid through the internal cooling passage and defines at least one corresponding opening.
