A rotation base has a base circular structure. A display backing has a backing circular structure. The backing circular structure is rotatably attached to the base circular structure to permit the display backing to rotate between landscape and portrait orientations relative to the rotation base. One of the base and backing circular structures defines a slot. The other of the base and backing circular structures defines a tab rotatably disposed within the slot.

Printers are disclosed herein. An example printer includes a housing; a non-refillable toner container permanently affixed within the housing, the toner container having a capacity sufficient to store enough toner to print a first number of pages that corresponds to an expected useful life of the printer; and a processor responsive to an input to enable a second number of pages to be printed by the printer, the second number of pages being less than the first number of pages.

In one example, a printer includes a printer housing, a photoconductor to apply toner to a print substrate, a developer to apply toner to the photoconductor, a light source to expose parts of the photoconductor to light, and a toner container to supply toner to the developer. The toner container housing is integrated into the printer housing as a load bearing structure or as an exterior feature, and/or the light source is integrated into the toner container as a single sub-assembly within the printer housing.

In one example, a toner container for an electrophotographic printer includes a toner supply reservoir having a capacity sufficient to store enough toner to print a minimum number of pages that corresponds to a predetermined expected useful life of the printer. In another example, a toner container for an electrophotographic printer includes a toner supply reservoir that, when the container is installed in the printer, extends longitudinally a distance greater than the distance between the light source and the photoconductor and laterally substantially the full axial length of the photoconductor. In another example, a toner container for an electrophotographic printer includes an opening for the imaging light beam and a toner supply reservoir that includes a lower chamber extending laterally under the opening and an upper chamber connected to the lower chamber along both sides of the opening.

A printing consumable loading assembly is provided in an imaging system including a system housing and a printing consumable holding assembly within the system housing. The loading assembly includes at least one consumable-containing cartridge, and at least one opening in the system housing having a size and shape adapted to permit the consumable-containing cartridge to pass therethrough. A guide assembly is connected to the imaging system within the housing. The guide assembly is adapted to receive and grasp a consumable-containing cartridge as it is inserted through the opening in the system housing. The guide assembly guides the consumable-containing cartridge into an in-use position within the printing consumable holding assembly. The loading assembly can accommodate a plurality of consumable-containing cartridges in a variety of ways. In one embodiment, cartridges can be loaded into a plurality of openings in the system housing. In an example, a registration key mechanism is provided on the openings in the system housing and the consumable-containing cartridges, whereby respective consumable-containing cartridges can fit only into corresponding openings in the system housing. The at least one opening in the system housing can be provided as a single opening when there is only one cartridge type to be loaded into the system, e.g., the system is a black-and-white printer. Alternatively, the single-opening loading assembly can be provided in a system where there is a multiple-cartridge loading assembly, such as a carousel mechanism. A method of loading printing consumables in an imaging system is also described.

Methods and systems for a multi-position print media feed tray are described. In one embodiment, a print media feed-tray comprises a structure for holding print media. The print media feed-tray further comprises a coupling device for orienting the structure relative to a printing device. The coupling device can be capable of orienting the structure in at least two positions from which print media can be received by the printing device from the structure.

A toner deliver system, such as a development roller, in an electrophotographic printer is conditioned with clear toner particles. The clear toner particles are made of similar resins and contains all of the flow and charge agents of color toner particles, but does not contain any pigment.
