A device for singling out products that are grouped in blister packs or similar multiple packages includes a support structure for at least one multiple package to be singled out, with a bearing surface defining a reference plane. A holding device can be activated selectively in order to hold the at least one multiple package against the bearing surface. A cutting head includes a cutting unit, preferably an ultrasound unit, with a device for cutting the multiple package, and a control is operatively connected to the cutting head and to the holding device in order to control relative movement between the cutting unit and the multiple package in accordance with a cutting scheme which is predetermined or is defined in real time, and which depends on the configuration of the multiple package.

Device and method for singling out products

A system for automatic storage and withdrawal of products, including a storage facility with a plurality of storage locations arranged in rows and columns. A picking arrangement is selectively movable between the plurality of storage locations and a delivery location to pick one or more products contained in selected storage locations and deliver the product(s) to the delivery location according to a selected order. A computer is provided to control movement of the movable picking arrangement according to an order sequence. A number of adjacent storage locations are enclosed in an armored module having armored back, side, and top wall and a front access opening closed by a movable closure which is normally closed and which is selectively opened when the picking arrangement is to pick one or more products contained in any one of the adjacent storage locations within the armored module.

System and method for automatic storage and withdrawal of products with security restrictions

A system for singling and transferring objects comprises an inlet area and an outlet area for objects from the system, transfer means for transferring such objects comprising containment members, and retrieval means for retrieving and depositing such objects in the containment members. The transfer means may be actuated, in use, independently of the retrieval means so as to transfer one or more objects to the outlet area.
