Protective helmet to be worn and to protect the head of a user against impacts and including a rigid outer shell delimiting an inner space for housing the head of user and including a front opening. The protective helmet includes a shield removably coupled to the outer shell and adapted to move at least between an operative position wherein the shield covers the front opening without allowing entrance of air in the inner space and an inoperative position wherein the inner space is accessible from the outside through the front opening, the shield being provided with a front hole. The protective helmet includes a locking device to lock the shield in the operative position. The locking device is positioned on the outer shell and includes a rotatable engaging member to engage the front hole of the shield when in the operative position.

Protective helmet

A protective helmet including an outer shell, an impact absorbing liner positioned inside to the outer shell and shaped so as to correspond to the shape of the wearer's head, and a comfort liner positioned at an inner surface of the impact absorbing liner so as to be in contact with the wearer's head and attached to the outer shell and/or to the impact absorbing liner by means of at least one connecting means. The comfort liner is provided with at least one elastic joint which is positioned in proximity of said at least one connecting means for joining said at least one connecting means to the comfort liner.

The present invention relates to a protective helmet () comprising: an outer shell (); an impact absorbing liner (), positioned inside the outer shell (), and a comfort liner (), positioned at an inner surface of the impact absorbing liner (), so as to be in contact with the user's head during the use of the protective helmet (). The comfort liner () comprises at least one cheek pad () including a padding layer () and a pad back plate (). The at least one cheek pad () is coupled to the impact absorbing liner () by means of magnetic coupling means () provided at the interface surface (P) between the pad back plate () and the impact absorbing liner (). The magnetic coupling means comprise at least one projection (), provided with a first magnetic element (), designed to be inserted inside at least one recessed seat () in proximity of which a second magnetic element () is arranged. According to the invention, the at least one recessed seat () has a different size and shape with respect to said at least one projection (). Said at least one projection () is adapted to move inside said at least one recessed seat () between a first position, wherein the first magnetic element () and the second magnetic element () are faced to each other, and a second position, wherein the first magnetic element () and the second magnetic element () are spaced apart, so that the pad back plate () is releasable from the impact absorbing liner ().

Protective helmet () designed to be worn by a user and to protect the head (H) of the user during an impact. The protective helmet () comprises a rigid outer shell () and a comfort liner () having an inner surface (), designed to be in contact with the user's head (H) when the helmet () is worn by the user, and an outer surface (), opposite to the inner surface (). The helmet () further comprises an impact absorbing liner () interposed between the rigid outer shell () and the comfort liner () and having an inner surface () facing the outer surface () of the comfort liner (). The inner surface () of the impact absorbing liner () comprises at least one layer () made of an epoxy resin in contact with the comfort liner () in use.

The present invention relates to a protective helmet () comprising an outer shell () and a visor () removably coupled to the outer shell () by means of a fastening mechanism () positioned on facing surfaces of the shell () and the visor (). According to the invention the fastening mechanism () comprises complementarily shaped elements () comprising at least one protrusion () and at least one receiving seat () provided with a flexible holding portion (). The at least one protrusion () is adapted to be removably fixed inside the at least one receiving seat () by engaging the flexible holding portion ().

A helmet () for protecting a user's head (), comprising a cap () for protecting the user's cranium () and a chin guard () for protecting the user's chin (), wherein the chin guard () is adapted to move between a first protecting position () and a second protecting position () under the action of a force () acting in the direction of the chin () of a user wearing on said helmet (), the chin guard () in said second protecting position () being nearer to the user's chin () with respect to the chin guard () in said first protecting position ().
