Wireless digital communication method for the communication between two electronic devices () of an industrial apparatus (), including&#x2014;encoding each bit of information by a respective sequence of a certain number (N) of pulses () that alternate with a corresponding number (N&#x2212;1) of silence intervals (), each pulse having a pulse duration (TI) shorter than or equal to ns and said silence intervals having respective silence durations (TSj) longer than or equal to 30 ns&#x2014;transmitting, by a first electronic device, a radio signal (RS) comprising a plurality of radio pulses corresponding to the sequence of pulses without modulating any radio carrier, and&#x2014;receiving and decoding, by the other electronic device, said radio signal to obtain said bit of information. The method may include additional steps for exchanging information between the electronic devices according to which one of the electronic devices, while in a stand-by state, transmits a request message, waits for a reply message from the other electronic device (if and when some conditions are complied with) and, upon receiving the reply message, switches to an operating state in which the two electronic devices are communicatively coupled to each other.

Wireless digital communication method and system for the communication between two electronic devices of an industrial apparatus

A probe () comprises a frame (), a movable armset () and a processing circuit (') for processing signals. The processing circuit is able to individually detect the state of contacts () defined by the cooperation between mechanical elements of the armset and mechanical elements of the frame, that is the closing or opening of the contacts, and provide a signal indicative of a rest position of the probe when it detects no more than one open contact. A method for processing signals uses said circuit in order to provide a signal indicative of a rest position of the probe. The circuit and the method for processing signals are advantageously implemented for processing the output signals of a touch probe adapted to check dimensions or position of a workpiece in coordinate measuring machines and machine tools.

Touch probe and relative circuits and methods for signal processing

A system and a method for the transmission of signals representative of an event include a first low frequency clock and a low frequency counter for generating a first delay, and a second high frequency clock and a high frequency counter for generating a second delay. The system further includes a transmitter for transmitting the representative signals after a delay from the event made up by the sum of the first and the second delay. The second delay can be generated also by an analog device including for example a capacitor, and devices for charging the capacitor up to the reaching of a preset voltage at its ends. A wireless transmission system according to the invention is utilized in a checking system with a contact detecting probe, for transmitting a signal representative of contact with the piece to be checked.
